Note for June 25, 02: - We started the ascent at 6:10 a.m. Back to the car at 2:30. Summited at 11:20. Most of the ascent is a toil, but the views are well worth the effort. It would have been a more enjoyable climb if more snow was on the slopes because treadmilling up 800m of scree gets very tiring.
Dates Summited -August 25, 01
Elevation -3161m(10,371Ft.)
Elevation Gain - 1500m
Location - Banff National Park
June 25, 02- After gaining many scree-slogging vertical meters we finally were getting some views. The view of the Bugaboos was great.

June 25, 02- After many tedious hours I topped out on the summit. The views were nuts. The mountain dominating the panorama was Mt. Ball - a 2 day scrambling trip. It looks mighty tempting.

June 25, 02- This is where we slept the night before we climbed. Right now I am half way in Alberta and the other half in British Columbia. We slept on the B.C side of the parking lot. |
