Note for Jan 9, 04: - With Pure Energy taken, we set up our rope on SplashDown A. The canyon bottom was solid, so we were able to belay from the base. To set the anchor, I climbed the ramp, traversed above the canyon, then rappelled from a tree to the lip of the falls. We used a two point anchor then rappelled to the base of the climb.

Dates Climbed -Jan 9,04

SplashDown A.

Colin climbing up some steep ice.

Fooling around with some mixed climbing. The ice was hanging a foot off the rock, so I couldn't make it back onto the ice.

Looking down from the top to Colin belaying in excellent style.

This is at the base of the canyon. There was another interesting climb another 20 meters up the canyon, which I think was SplahDown B.

Here's a pic of the anchor.
