Note for Jan 9, 04: - Colin and I left Red Deer at 7:00, and got to the base of the climbs at 10:30. When we got to the falls, a group led by the guys from the Center for Outdoor Education had already claimed Pure Energy. They let us climb on their rope for a bit. It worked out good because this let us climb on two routes for the day.

Note for Dec 18, 04: - Stayed at the Shunda Creek Hostel. For 22 beans a night you get a bed, kitchen with fridge, hot tub, and outdoor ice wall. We reached the ice at 11:00 and set a rope on pure energy which we climbed top-rope style on for the day.

Dates Climbed -Jan 9, 04

Pure Energy is the climb on the left, leaving SplashDown on the right. You can see Colin at the base of SplashDown.
