Note for July 5, 00: - I hiked Mt. Fairview with the Central Alberta Mountain Club. The weather was very clear with a slight breeze. This was my second time ascending this mountain because I heard the view was really good and when I first climbed it I saw nothing because all of Lake Louise was covered in cloud. Mt. Fairview is the easiest mountain around Lake Louise and has very good views.

July 5, 01- Here is the route up Mt. Fairview seen from Saddleback Mountain. The route up Fairview is just a steep hike and has no exposure. Boring for some but the great views make up for all the boredom. Glissading back down in early season months should give a good time.

July 5, 01- This is my only Mountain Goat I have ever came across. I was very surprised on how sure-footed they are. He let me get very close so I could click this picture of him. I think he's smiling, don't you?

July 5, 01- Here I am on the summit with Mt. Temple in the background. I forget my ascent time but it isn't a very big mountain. Allow around 2.5 hours for the ascent.

July 5, 01- Here I am looking towards Mt. Victoria. Mt Victoria is one of the few 54 mountains in the Rockies that stands above 11,000 Feet.

July 5, 01- Here is Mt. Temple from the summit. Mt. Temple stands at 11,624 feet and is the biggest mountain in and around Lake Louise. I plan on climbing Mt. Temple in late August of this year.
