Hello Deaf Disc Golfers Two co-chairperson names are Rogelio and Jerritt. They are the Chairpersons of WNYDDG. They hosted at Ellison Park,Greece,and Chili in Rochester, NY. Roge's email address is rpjr179@yahoo.com.

FARF: Is your first hosting tournament ?

Rogelio Perez: yes as for the cash prize, did host before but it only had few players and this one was more players!!

FARF: What will you do better if you host the tournament next time ?

RP : to give away some more stuff and to attract more people to come for camping.

FARF: Do you like the idea of hosting and playing at the same time?

RP: Well, at first i thought it will be easy to handle it, but the better idea is not good to do the hosting at same time.

FARF: How many people played there ?

RP: 21

FaRF9876: How many people played there last year?

RP: i'll said 6 to 7 players

FARF What was the most common excuses they made for not showing up ?

RP: i believe that everyone had show up, some said the money reason, and other..? humm maybe it too far!? heh

FARF: How many players did you assume for showing up for your tournament ?

RP: about 25 to 30

FARF:What did the winners get after the tourney ? How much ?

RP: cash!,but i wish i had gave somestuff to remmeber the weekend, and how much? it had 4 diffenert group of winners. JB can answer that!

FARF: Do you have any plan or heard any plan for next tournament nearby at your area in New York?

RP: OHH yes! we are thinking about hosting one in the winter of 2002, and to host again as 2nd annual for next year as a better one!

FARF: Will you host the same disc golf course, again ?

RP: Yes or no, i had thinking about in another course in Buffalo or Syracuse, that are in a campground!

FARF: Did they heard about www.deafdiscgolf.com ?

RP: Of course! they had heard of it and told me about it..

FARF:How did NTID react to Deaf Disc Golf's growth?

RP: as far i know, it been around here for along time..maybe you had know about it or you the one who had influenced .. ! am i right? heh

FARF9876: Did you advertise about your tournament through NSC's newsletter or other? If so, what did you use to advertise?

RP: well didnt advertise much.. but as i know i could had done a better way to advertised and would bring more players to come.

FARF9876: What is your short and long term goal for deaf disc golf ?

RP: for a short term, i want more player to hang out amount twice a month here in Western New York (wny) to gatherin every course in the whole wny

For the long term, believe me or not to be into a offically in deaf Olympic and also to grow more to set a professional or some headquater of deaf disc golf org, and like this too with deafdiscgolf.com., it did help the network to all other in the world!

FARF: Any short comments would you like to add before we can wrap up this interview ?

RP: For the WNYDDGolfers, come and let gathering more and post some on email or some network commucation... and the whole world let tell them that we are going to be come a deaf professional disc golfer!

FARF: What will you do with your homepage regarding of deaf disc golf that I made ? Should I keep your homepage on the newsletter for now ?

RP: silly answer! am i here to help u with the website or am i the one who tell u to set one? KEEP Up with the www.deafdiscgolf.com! it will grow~!

RP: are u kiddin me!!?.. is that in january 2002 of the first weekend? answer me that!
