Worst Stuck Snap Shots!!!

Rules are: you have to be winched or chained out.

Dopey

This was Dopey on a run through a hole on Browning Bridge Road. The last time he had taken the trail Grumpy and himself decided to take the bypass to stear clear of the hole.Jeff Patton hooked up a strap and with a little effort Dopey was pulled clear. He has stated he will be back to kick this hole's bootie.

Grumpy...

On this trip to Browning Bridge Road Grumpy had just finished climbing a small hill and decided he didn't want to turn around. This hole stood in his way.Dopey's Zook would not budge him on this one.He had to break bad on the Ramsey and hook to Dopey's front bumper. As we pulled him out, there was about a foot and a half of ground removed from the center of the ruts.Must be a 44" hole.

Dopey again

Here is Dopey again. We were leaving some private property in Bedford when Dopey thought he could go over a downed tree instead of taking the trail. He got one front over and then the Zook slid down to the end of the tree.thus pinning it in three spots. The picture doesn't showw the tree under the front axel. While trying to get it out he broke his stering donut(he just removed the donut and bolted it direct). In the end we had to break out the chainsaw and cut the main tree out.And to give you some idea of how big the tree was,it took 5 of us to move it out from under the Zook.

Grumpy...again

This doesn't look too bad but the Thornbirds suck when you need them. Also if you have been wheeling very long you will know what I am talking about when I say there was a lime base to this hole. The lime made it like quicksand and the harder you try to get out the more it sucks you in.It's really nasty stuff.

Dopey and crew...

Dopey got this one near Grumpy's stuck in the private land in Bedford.Everyone said it was not to be conquored and he found out so.The lime base sucked him down like to Titanic.Grumpy's winch was able to pull him out with no problems.Dopey did want to try it again but we talked him into continuing. And those are 33" tires almost under.

Jeff Patton

Before Jeff tried this hole he asked the ever knowledgable Charles Beringer if it was makeable or not."Sure it is,you can do it" he said.Well after some time trying to get out himself,Kristin chained him out of his situation.Jeff was quite the wild man on this trip with Charles along.

Jeff Patton, again

We warned hime that Zooks can sink but he tried the hardest hole anyway.Jeff di almost make it through by himself till the Thornbirds were well under the muck.Grumpy had the winch in place and strung out before Jeff ever stopped to notice.

Brent May (Mr. Bungee)

Brent had made it through some of the other holes and this one didn't look as bad.He made it about 5 feet into the hole and then the hole pitched to one side and it floundered.Grumpy winched him out to another section and once again he got hung trying to get out of some ruts to climb a small but steep hill.you will see the pitch on Jeff Pattons pic.

Kristin Patton

Kristin was not really stuck technically. She could go foreward and backward but the only problem was after she dropped into the hole her tires weren't big egnough and both axels bottomed out on the exit and entrance to the hole. But never the less she did have to be winched out.

Jeff Patton (it was a busy day)

WINCHED AGAIN! In this stretch of ruts and holes Jeff was winched twice. But,look at the textured brown paint scheme. And oh what a pitch for a mud rut trail.

Joey Hicks and his "Beast"

I know this is not a Zook but it was a Zook that pulled him out. Before this shot was taken this Toyota with 37" Boggers and a 350Chevy motor was perched on its side in the middle of this hole.He had just gone through a hole noone had conquored that night and was very high on the time.He hid a hole that led into this hole.As he entered this hole he carried his left front tire across the top of the mud and caught the wall and continued to roll it over.Noone was hurt and after some tranny fluid was added all was good.

Adam Walscog

Adam has taken over for Dopey since his temporary leave from the Samurai world. This highcentered picture was taken at a unfortunate time.Adam had just been winched from the first of this trail and tried to hit it again. He made it through all the big stuff with much persistance. After the last large hole he became highcentered and needed winched again. He was only 50 feet from the end of the 1/8 mile solid non stop mud trail. We were all proud of him anyway. We did get video of his work.
