Sitting in his locker room, The Ace Of Spades is getting ready for his match.  Because he and Maxx are both fighting each other, his locker room is separate from the rest of the OutlawZ.  Ace prefers it this way, it gives him time to think.  To mull over the thoughts about having the chance to win the world title.  To ponder about fighting his friend.  To think about the rest of the Mind Games card.  The room is completely quiet, save for the sound of Ace moving, and the clock ticking.

Ace looks wet, so it safe to assume that he just got out of the shower.  He keeps looking up at the clock and the wall, and as every second ticks he is getting more fidgety.

Ace pulls up his jock strap over his boxers and knocks on the cup.  Then he throws on his old school HWC T-Shirt, from way before the reopening.

He checks the clock again.  Only 30 seconds have passed.

Ace than puts on one boot.  He laces it up.  Then, he wiggles his foot, by the ankle, to make sure the boot is comfortable, and moveable.  It is.  Again he checks the clock.  Another 30 seconds has gone by.  Ace then puts the other boot on his other foot.  He laces it up and again makes sure it is comfortable.  Again, it is.  And one more time Ace checks the clock.  This time 45 seconds have gone by.

Ace then walks over to a cubby.  Hanging in the cubby are the black leather overalls, with the red spades.  Ace picks the up and puts them on.  He puts them on very slowly.  One leg goes in, and then the other.  The Ace buckles one strap, than he buckles the other.  Ace does a few jumping jacks, and stretches out a bit.  And then, for what seems like the thousandth time in a minute, Ace checks the clock.  4 minutes have passed.

Still Ace isn't done getting ready.  He reaches into a pocket in the overalls and pulls out 2 leather driving gloves.  He puts them and cracks his knuckles.  According to the clock 20 seconds have gone by.

Still, Ace is not done getting ready for his match.  Now he walks over to a table.  He picks up and puts on his shades.  It takes all of 5 seconds.  Also on the table is his black leather bucket hat, with the red spade logo.  He picks it up and puts it on.  He straightens it out, and gets it perfectly straight.  He does so without a mirror, but the hat is straight.  The clock now says 15 seconds has passed.  

After only 385 seconds since getting out of the shower, Ace has finished getting dressed.

Now he has a number of things he can do.  He can join the other OutlawZ for some time, he can get a pre-match meal, or he can work out a little, doing small things like push-ups, or sit-ups.

But he does none of these things.

Ace walks over to the door, and he locks it.  He dims the lights, so from the outside of the locker room, they appear to be off, but from the inside, they are just bright enough to see all things around him.

Then he drops to his knees, and closes his eyes.  He bows his head and claps his hand.

For the remaining time, Ace will do only one thing.

No matter how much time passes, he will do the only thing he feels will better prepare him for the match.
