It is a dark and dreary night, the rain is crashing down hard.  The temperature is a bit nippy, most people are wearing windbreakers and sweatshirts.  It's pretty late, around 1:00 AM.  There are teenagers roaming the streets drinking beers and eluding the police.  Hookers are out on every corner, trying to make some money, they are also trying to elude the police.  Some couples are out, holding hands and walking, mostly they are just enjoying each other's company.  Watching from high above the city is Ace-Man.  He has been on his midnight patrol from 11:00 PM.  He always starts early, to make sure the city is protected, and from 7:30 PM he is monitoring the city from the Ace-Cave.

As Ace-Man is jumping from rooftop to roof top he notices an older teenage girl is in an alley and is being surrounded by a bunch of men in vampire masks.

Ace-Man: If there is one thing I hate it's vampires.  I shouldn't have to go "Buffy" on somebody's gothic ass!  And if there are two things I hate, it's vampires who try and rape young children.  Well. I better put my game face on.

Ace-Man swoops down using and Ace-Rope, he stays in the shadows the whole time.  He goes undetected by the four Vampire men and by the girl.  He uses his deep intimidating voice when talking.

Ace-Man: Get away from her now!

Vampire 1: Did you hear that?

Vampire 2: Fuck, I didn't hear shit.

Vampire 3: Yeah, I thought I heard somethin' too...

Vampire 4: Don't you too want a piece of this fine ass!

The young girl is trembling, she was just given an opportunity to run away but was too scare to capitalize.  The four Vampires begin to move towards the girl again and the girl starts to cry.  One Vampire grabs the girls arms and holds them behind her back.  Another Vampire takes out a knife and begins to gut the girls shirt off.  The girl begins to cry even harder and starts yelling for help.

At the very moment that she yells "help" one of the Vampires is pulled away by an Ace-Rope, and another is knocked out by an Ace-A-Rang.

Than Ace-Man makes himself visible and knocks out another Vampire with a savate kick!  The last and final Vampire tries to run away but his legs are caught by a bolo.  Ace-Man walks over to him, but his face and body shape can't be detected.  All that can be seen is his "Ace Symbol" on his chest.

Ace-Man: Tell me, why were you about to rape this child?

Vampire 4: I wasn't gonna man honest....

Ace-Man: I HATE liars.

Vampire 4: I don't know man!  I really don't!

Ace-Man: I'll tell you why.  You are a hollow shell of a man.  You have no self confidence, and in your sick, demented mind, harming this poor girl would have made you feel like a "real man."  Well you aren't a real man, you are a superstitious, cowardly lot.  And if I were to maim you right now, the world would probably be a better place.  But I'm not going to maim you.

Vampire 4: T-t-t-thank Y-y-you.

Ace-Man: Don't thank me, I said I wasn't going to main you, I never said I wouldn't let the girl.  (looking towards the girl on the floor.)  Anything you want to do?

The girl nods her head yes and gets up  She is still shivering and is white as a ghost.  She slowly walks over to the fallen Vampire and kicks him right in the crotch.  Then she steps on his crotch, and "puts out a cigarette."  The man screams and pain and begins to cry.

Ace-Man: Are you alright?

Girl: Yes sir.

Ace-Man: Go home, and try and get some rest.

Girl: I don't want to walk alone.

Ace-Man: You are never alone.  I'm always watching...everybody that is, not just you.  You'll be home safe, I promise you.

Girl: Would you mind if I gave you a hug?

Ace-Man: Well I don't usually hug the person I save, but if it will make you feel better, than go right ahead.

The girl gives Ace-Man a hug and then runs out of the alley way.

Ace-Man gathers all the Vampires and ties all of their legs and arms together.

Ace-Man: Just need to make an anonymous call to the police, and you fellas will know just what it feels like to be raped.  Oh and one more thing, if I ever see you doing this again, I promise you this, I will not be so nice.

Ace-Man takes out his Ace-Grapple and shoots it to the top of a building.  He goes back to his rooftops and fades into the shadows as he continues to fight crime.
