Kansas City, Missouri
All is quiet in front in Kansas City, the site of the the July 13 Saturday Slaughter. Driving around the City is Ace-Man in his Ace-Mobile. He has been righting wrongs all day long and now isn't any different. Because the First National Bank of Kansas City has just been robbed and Ace-Man has just found out.
Ace-Man: The bank has just been robbed!! The eye-witness has said that the get away car was a 2003 Suzuki Vitara. The license plate read Mr W00D. Now I'm not criminal, but if I was going to rob a bank, I would have a much faster car, and a not so recognizable license plate. If this makes the paper, I should send the article to Headlines, Care of The Tonight Show. Jay loves stupid criminals.
As Ace-Man is talking to himself, the jeep speeds by him.
Ace-Man: What a reckless driver! I'll stop him and return the money! But traffic is heavy on this road, I'll have to abandon the Ace-Mobile!
Ace-Man jumps out of the vehicle and looks around for the car. The bank robbers are stopped at a red light.
Ace-Man: What a friggin moron!! (looking at the car) Shields On!!
Ace-Man puts a big leather car cover over the Ace-Mobile and smiles
Ace-Man: now no one will be able to steal my car! Ace-Man Powers Activate!! Form of the Road Runner!!
Ace-Man begins to run down the street headed towards "Mr W00D". The light turns green and "Mr W00D" speeds away. Ace-Man continues to run after the car but can't catch up
Ace-Man: I have an idea.
Ace-Man take out an Ace-A-Rang and throws it at "Mr W00D's" tire. The tire pops and the car swerves, and then comes to a stop
Ace-Man: Ace-Man Powers Activate! From of Ace-Man!
Ace-Man open the door and looks at the bank robbers
Ace-Man: You thought you could outrun me, while I was in Road Runner form. HA! I laugh in your face villain.
Villain: Man, you wasn't never no Road Runner. You're some Batman wannabe!
Ace-Man: No...I'm Ace-Man!
Ace ties the man up with an Ace-Rope
Ace-Man: The police can do the rest from here. Remember Mr W00D, if that's even your real name, I'm watching you. Ace-Man AWAY!!!!
Ace tries to run into an alley but is stopped by a reporter
Reporter: Excuse me, my name is Kent Clark, a reporter for a small town newspaper, and you said your name was Ace-Man. Do you have anything to say that we can print in our newspaper.
Ace-Man: As a matter of fact, I do. I have reason to believe that Mr W00D is a henchman for the notorious gang boss known by the name "Neurosis". And because I am "The World's Greatest Detective" I have deduced that "Neurosis" will be in this very state next Saturday. But you citizens have no need to fear because I too will be in this town, and I vow to bring him to justice!!
Kent Clark: Well thanks, Ace-Man, but I just have one more question for you, who are you, I mea who really are you?
Ace-Man: "A friend"
Ace-Man runs into the alley that he tried to run into before. Kent Clark just stares at him while he runs away. He continues to look down the alley even after Ace-Man is no longer visible.
