Photography Information
Currently we have three cameras within our group, one sony digital cam and two conventional cameras. In the conventional cameras we use a combination of 24expo.Kodak MAX 400 speed film, and 24expo.Kodax MAX 800 speed film with blur protection. We have little known use with the 800 speed film so we are currently working with that. We like the 400 speed film it seems to work just fine, and not to mention it is a lot cheaper to run that rather than the 800 speed. On our hunts, photographers are armed with at least five rolls or more of their choice of speed, but we recommend them to use Kodak film. ABSOULUTLY NON of our photos posted on this website may be taken for any other web page without the full consent of each member of the Tomb Investigators Ghost Hunting Group. These photos are our property and posted on this website and ONLY on this website for your private viewing only.

Who's our developer?
We currently get our photos developed at the one hour photo at Walmart, this is new for us, and we are not sure yet if we like this or not. So far we still like our old developer in Cash Wise Grocery, but due to some complications there we were forced to find someone else. Cash wise was a good place. The color was always good, but sometimes our photos came back chopped in half or other weird alignment things happening. As a team of investigators we cannot let that happen, so its on to Walmart One Hour Photo. Our happiness with Walmart's facility is at 75% satifaction. Our photos are not cut up, but the color is somewhat questionable. We have also tried four other locations like Walgreens, and Fast Photo, but they have failed our quality satisfaction with our photos.

Our Negatives
We do not scan in our negatives to the web site, simply for the fact that we wish not to damage them, or even handle them in any other way other than inspecting them for activity, damage, or fraud. If our photos show a ghostly happening, we turn to the negative for study, after study it is slipped carfully back into its case then filed away under lock and key. If your photo shows a ghost, be sure your negative does also, if your negative shows a ghost, be sure your photo does. If those two things ever happen to you, then you have developer issues and you need to deal with that. Your developer should not be doing any touching up on your photos. We usually hang around and watch their process as carefully as possible.
Video tape every hunt
We video tape every planned hunt that we do. (yes, sometimes we don't plan these, they just happen) This has been a good learning expeirence with the help of this. Its very good to sit back and watch all the events, and learn from them whether it be mistakes, flyin objects that aren't supposed to be flying, or just the good time you had out there. The type of Video cam we are using currently is a Sony Digital Handycam 560x zoom with nightshot.

How we started
Dave S. our good friend and founder of the Tomb Investigators came up to us one day and brought up the idea of Ghost Hunting to Chuck and I. He was surfing around the internet and he ran across some ghost sites and he noticed how easy and how interesting this would be, so he brought it to our attention that he wanted to form a group. Thus born the Tomb Investigators in June of 2000. We went out the next day bought film, new cameras, even the videocam and set forth into the realm of ghost hunting.

We set up a particular way of catagorizing our photos that came back with evidence: ORBS = BRONZE, VORTEXS = SILVER, APPARITIONS = GOLD. This was a unique way of catagorizing, but is effective if your group members are not there at the time of developement. Our very first hunt, we were just out and looking around for places to go (Dave and I). We came across Zions Cemetery and that is where we added PLATNIMUM to our catagory, this equals two or more apparitions in one photo. The Ghost Gate pic brought that one around.

Around September 2001 the Tomb Investigators brought on board a new member (Jason J.) who was extremly interested in our team and what we do. So now a team of four they hunt whenever possible. Wonder what lies in the future for this team?
