Fate Poems
A window to my life

Damn You Fate and Your Cronies
The worst circumstances
Are the ones we can't control
Our bodies tumbling about
Inside Fate's spin cycle

A broken car here
A mass of tree pollen there

Shatters hopes
Crushes dreams
Decimates goals
Eradicates wishes

Yet I am cursed because it's 'my fault'
No one sees that I am just
A chess piece
In Fate's cruel game
I am always blamed yet
Much to my chagrin
I can't blame another

Time wore out the car
Nature spread the pollen

They were all in on it
But it doesn't matter
All I can do is
Fix the car
Take the medicine
And trudge through another day
Thick as mud
Thanks to Fate and her cronies

Fate's Upper Hand

Fate once cursed me
Taunted me
Belittled me
Sent wave after wave
to do battle with my
fragile sanity

Time conspired
Nature assulted
Fate and her cronies
had the upper hand

My elyelids closed
As I fell into
the recess of my mind
But a beacon called out

A light shined upon my
downtrodden heart
Lifted me up
Set me straight

Yet I did not know
how bright the light was

But the light brightened
and my eyes were opened
Instantly blinded by the
Radience there in

Fate
You and your cronies
Have lost this game

I now hold the upper hand
With another grasped
Lovingly in mine.

Fate's Third Vengence

Fate returns
With a fiery vengence
Sees the sweet
Rewards that we've won
And tries to spoil
The happiness which
We gained agaist
The wishes of Fate.

Fear
Anxiety
Jealously
Fear
Fear
Fear

The bitter taste of
Fear crossed our path
And ran circles around our minds
Fate laughed the malignant laugh
As the blackness crept in

Distance holds
Fear grows
Hope is questioned
Tears are shed

The words kept flowing
As Fate kept trying
To make us fail
The latest of test

Distance seems smaller
Fear is vanquished
Hope is empowered
Tears are of happiness

When the smoke clears
And words are all said
Two souls are one
Our hands grasped lovingly
Together

A second whirl

Once again there it is
>The cold shudder of
Fate's presence
Passing within an inch of sanity

Extremely fragile sanity
Crumpled up and tossed in
Fate's spin cycle for
A second whirl

Over under all around
My world is turned upsided down

Evil words flood the cycle
Fate taps a pawn
And brings out the cronies

Fear
Distance
Time
Nature

Death

The spin cycle's slowing down now
The light of my life
Is up ahead
Will I make it?
Or does Fate
Give it another whirl?
