Strider lives with his mom Cookie in Arizona. He is in training and showing in flyball, agility and obedience.

Alicia, just thought I would drop you a quick note to say that Strider is
doing well. He is learning like crazy.
Sometimes he so wants to please that he will run through his entire list of
tricks, to ensure that he is giving me the right one. You can just watch
him think. His coat is really coming full and his colors are beautiful. If
he gets a full long coat, he is going to be a gorgeous dog.

Update from owner on 4/2/03
He was gaining weight (20 lbs. now),
but for the last two weeks
his weight has stayed the same and he is growing long and tall. He really
is fun to have. He can sit,
down, come on recall, heal on the left and right. He loves the ball and
retrieving and he can also
catch the ball. Frisbees are still foreign to him, but he loves to play
with them.
I look forward to seeing Strider's Daddy in the commercial

He is growing like crazy. As of last Thursday, he had gained
4 lbs. He is learning quickly, but hates baths and the brush.
He plays in the dirt all the time, so he is having to get used
to baths.

Strider is a blue merle tri border collie. He was born December 8, 2002.
His father is Red Dawn Paris and mother is C-Horse Ruby.
