Paris made his debut in television with a bang. He's the 'poster dog' for FURREAL FRIENDS GO GO MY WALKIN' PUP. The commercial featuring Paris as "Ginger" the mother to the lifelike toy pups will air during Saturday morning cartoons and after-school children's shows. Check back for updates and show times!!


Paris is a blue merle male born in January 2000. He is 19" tall, and 33#. He has a compact frame. His hips are OFA "Excellent", elbows "Normal", hearing BAER "Normal" and eyes CERF. He is very affectionate. Paris is social with everyone he meets. He loves children and is a trusted babysitter with puppies and kittens. Paris spent many months on a ranch herding everything from baby chicks to sheep and goats to cattle. He adjust his style to the stock he works- pushing the baby chicks to make them move and gripping stubborn cattle to make the move along. Paris has natural balance and is a very helpful farm dog.

Paris is the son of John Wilson's blue merle Irish Imported trial dog, Scott. (pictured below) Paris is a grandson of Dowdall's "Dell", ISDS 187939. Dell produced 9 dogs who have competed on the Irish National Team. His grandfather is "Kilkerrian Scott" ISDS 166605, a well known trial dog and top producing herding dog in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Paris' great-grandfather is Pip ISDS 124578 , won the Irish National Championship three times and Irish Brace Champion in 1989, plus many other championships; as did his father Scott ISDS 57965 in 1974 and 1978. In addition, Paris goes back to the famousJ.J. Templeton's Roy, ISDS 114678 , the top winning dog in the 80's.

Paris' mother is from the Sagebrush kennel. His grandfather is Sagebrush Saber and great-grandfather is Sagebrush Sam. This line is known for practical working farm and ranch dogs plus trial dogs. It is one of the oldest and well established working border collie kennels in America. They have a reputation for producing healthy dogs with good hips, they are one of the first kennels to begin OFA on their breeding stock in the 80's. Sagebrush is a colorful kennel; blues, blue merle, red merle and reds are common colors in their line.

Paris lives with his handler, Danny in west Texas, and plays frisbee religiously; plus is training for search and rescue.


Paris' father Imported Scott; he is an Open Trial trained Import from Ireland; and a pup out of Scott.
Scott is a blue merle short coat son of "Kilkerrian Scott".
