How long will it be before the bill of rights takes a backseat to "The War On Terrorism" ?
Heartfelt Words: It has been quite some time since the events of September 11th, but the horror of that day still is engraved in all of our hearts and minds. While the terrorists did succeed in murdering hundreds of innocent people, they did not win. Proof of this lies not in Afghanistan, but rather, right here in America. We win when we move on. We win when we keep living and when nothing changes. We win when everything we stand for, EVERY RIGHT in the constitution is fought for just as fervently as it was before 9/11. We win NOT when we resolve, out of fear, to soften the very laws and rights that make us great, but when we fight for them. We win when we prove that a truly great nation can make itself safe and still protect civil liberties. That is how we win.
