i reckon hat is now a college graduate. there was no formal announcement and i didn't go to the ceremony, so its all good. i think the jimmy is running, temporarily at least. i bought a new radiator and installed that yesterday. now its time for some new brake pads, and then a starter, and then maybe some wheel bearings and axles. people want to socialize with me, this is strange. ishtar!

i am free. free as a bird. fly away birdie, fly away. after my last exam i skipped, yes skipped, in the giddy carefree stly of walking sense out to the parking lot. heeheehee. yes, it is awesome to be finished at MAC, i can almost say i enjoyed my time there, yet i won't. now it is onward and upward to the great west. the 'rents and i celebrated, of sorts by going for some mexican dinner. i ended up annoying mom by snatching her jalapeno peppers and eating them. oh, and the new roof is on the house and garage. yes, our shingles kick ass. the neighbor's roofs all look like shit compared to ours. we kick ass. ok, i think that is more than enough cheer for one entry.

saruday night's all right. the red wings won, the red wings won. all is good. so yes, another day in the life of hat. worked, came home, decided to kick it with the woodchuck. went on a survey of west michigans finest used cd retailers. hat bought Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction and the woodchuck bought some hootie and the blowfish nonsense. went to the old Gh meijers and drove my RC El Camino around, ah good times. came home for the bush race/wings game. found roofer type people on the garage working. cool, no more rotten shingles on the jimmy. so there is am watcing the red wings, when tom calls and wants out of some mud. grumble, hat goes to grand haven and yanks a volkswagon. comes home, Wings are kicking ass. excellent. two days of finals coming up. need to write 2 essays. how long can i put it off? pretty long heh.

ok, so friday...ick. well actually i will go back to last night when i basically told woodchuck i wasn't "hanging out" with him and joe this weekend. let me see, why does he want to hang out? oh, its because he's out of school, doesn't have a job yet, and oh his woman is taking off to Chicago and he isn't going. Wow, an offer i can't refuse. He tried to make the offer better by saying "WE" could go to whitehall and golf, oh the fun! anyway, i told him to go find a job and signed off aim.

now we are at friday. woke up, headed for mac, got on 31, ignition took a dump. walked, got other vehicle, arrived at class 40 minutes late. oops. went to perkins with some class people and prof, all was well. fixed truck. whoo. oh, and the red wings won last night as well, yes.

our topic tonight: Kevin Pennoyer. what a human turd. this little boy has lived the charmed life as long as i've known him, which has been way to damn long. he is the physical embodiment of a cocky, arrogent, ego driven, self indulgent motherfucker. i feel sorry for his mother and father who are decent people. IT has been pissing me off for at least 15 years, going back to grade school where i would usually end up fighting this shit for cheating at marbles or some such nonsense. fast forward to the high school years where he manipulates his parents into getting him a nearly new Mustang, which he promptly drives into some trees. of course anything the rest of us drive is just a piece of junk, worthless next to his Mustang. now we are into the college years, and he is still pissing me off. he dates an aquaintence of mine, dumps her over THE PHONE and is now messing with his gf's friend and another mutual acquaintence. so kevin pennoyer, human trash this rant is for you. i hope you are soon seen for the true jerk you are. please go to hell at the earliest convenience.

ok its time for a real update. hat is back on the westside after a saturday foray into mount pleasant. the jimmy rolled into town and headed straight for the casino. once i got rid of enough quarters the journey headed for "Taco Boy" where dinner was eaten. a brief venture across the way to Arbys so we could add to the collection of Red Wings cups. i now have 3 of them, Yzerman/Federov, Hull/Shannahan and Lidtrom/Chelios. i refuse to purchase the Hasek glass. wonderful. got back to 'ski town around 10, which seemed like all of 7 for some reason. i tell ya you lose track of time in those casinos. and i will not mention the cashier girl with the orange fingernails....mmmm. well sometime today i have to write my last paper for Film class. 300 words about soft-core porn. this might be the toughest assignment yet. hah.

the monitor is here, the monitor is here. yes back to the glory of seventeen inches of sweet sweet screen. hoohah. hat also completed the viewing of sex, lies and videotape which was Steven Soderberg's breakthrough film. hope i spelled his name right. not too sucky, plus it had Laura San Giacomo in it, and she is just awesome. yes, now i get to write another paper. yippee ki yi yay. humanities picked up nicely, with hat scoring an A on a test and then watching Yellow Submarine which is too Scooby Doo-esque for me. i also get to write an essay about that "film" hmph. well i might keep this short. we will see. maybe more later.

well folks my procrastination came to a flaming halt today. i broke down and wrote my c&c paper for film, "big ups to compton" was a title i considered but ultimatly rejected. chatted with a few people, continued blowing off the FNH work...boo to that junk, ill do it at work tomorrow i guess. went and worked out the last inclass astronomy test, hoohah on that. followed chris and earl and flipped them the bird repeatedly. yes. so now i sit in all my shit. kidding, came home and hung some video racks on the wall with dad, who then realized he has way more than 80 videos...hah hah hah. so i confiscated his tape of The Mummy with the subtitles in espanol (thats spanish to the uninformed (wait Krista is the only one that reads this so nevermind (although i guess i could just delete, but ah fuck))) opened the mail and grandpa came through with the apartment listings for flagstaff, "big ups" to gramps. he also put in the auto classifieds....that funny funny man. so sinco none of the 6 people on my buddy list are on, i think i will hit that FNH work...bah

another day, another death. work, check, blah. changed some oil, while listening to another cd, Megadeth, "Risk" an album i picked up in Grand Haven at Disk Come Disk Go. hat has also avoided his assignments all day long baby. i must find a way to continue this procrastination. can i get some help?

woot woot, to all my homies on the westside. this could be an interesting update, so everyone cross your fingers. hat is going to get his monitor replaced under warrenty, so big ups to gateway. my jimmy is repaired for the time being, so we got that going on. this evening hat hit the store Recordings and More in 'skegon. i hadn't been there in years, but the place is fully stocked. i found the Tool album "Anima" and Rammstein "Mutter" for 8 bucks each. but i could of spent much, much more. so we got that goin on. better news is that hat is goin to the casino next saturday, woot!

i think i might be close to surviving the worst of it. basically, last thrusday hat screwed up his jimmy bad. the transfer case became cracked, parts that were one piece became several, and the driveshaft ended up in a ditch. wonderful no? so saturday morning hat is driving through nunica where he spots Jake's disabled car. later we discover that he has also screwed up his transmission. jake has his car towed home and whatnot. later in the afternoon we receive a call from the woodchuck, who claims his car will no longer move and transmisison fluid is leaking out. is this area the bermuda triangle of transmissions? afterwards hat went back to work, since double shifts are so awesome! could it get better? yes! i worked sunday morning too, and then got piss bored watching the rain in texas.

this is a long entry for me, but it gets better...in an evil way. monday started off decent, with hat getting an A on the Matrix paper for film class. then he went to the dentist office for 3, count em three fillings. the texas race was then on, and basically sucked, reaching a highpoint when dale jr met the wall. went to astronomy to study binary star systems. put the new transfer case in the jimmy. hopefully hell weeks are in the decline, but i think tuesday might have a comeback in the suck level. ah, so many words. oh yes, Lawrence of Arabia is a shit-tay movie. at least i can make camel jokes
