This is a daily journal of my exciting life. Here you can find out what crazy misadventures I've gotten myself into each day. It will be updated on a semi-regular basis (which means, whenever I feel like doing it).
July 15, 2001- It's only been a week since I've updated. Today was a typical Sunday. I went to church, cleaned afterward, and saw a movie later. I went and saw Final Fantasy. It was pretty good, and had really good animation, aside from the fact that the characters' mouthes didn't open wide enough. I started posting in the "Special Section". It's the first part of the short story that I just finished. It's actually a rewrite of a story I wrote in high school. The original story was a page and a half, and this one turned out to be about 22 pages. I'll probably split it up into 4 or 5 parts. I have several other stories from high school that I have to rewrite. I'll probably start another one tonight. Be sure to check it out.
July 7, 2001- Wow, I haven't updated in a while. I've been really lazy... I mean busy. I haven't been up to too much lately. I've been playing Opposing Force alot. I kinda got stuck earlier today. There about 500 huge aliens, and I'm a little low on my powerful ammunition. I also worked for about 7 hours today. I was going to go to the church and clean, but I have a bad headache, so I think I'll go tomorrow morning. I'm going to update the site soon, like I said I've been busy, but don't worry it will be updated soon.
June 19, 2001- I worked a lot today. I just got back from working at the church. I wanted to finish cleaning today, so I wouldn't have to get up early tomorrow, but I was way too tired. I had reached the point where not only did I hear weird sounds coming from everywhere, but I was also imaging that I would turn around some corner and there would be someone standing there, or something even worse. Then things just started disappearing, and that's when I decided to leave. Oh yeah, Mike Smith is the most evil person I know.
June 12, 2001- Did you ever have one of those weird days? Today was weird, but I can't really place a finger on why. Maybe that's why it's especially weird. The day started off normal enough. I got up at about noon, and watched some TV. I got a call from Peggy Way (She's my cool boss at the church) at around 2 saying that there was a breakout of lice at the children's camp and they were going to be back at the church in a few hours. So, I headed right down there and helped Jason Hoffer (who is the youth intern, who also goes to Olivet) set up some tents for the kids to use as changing/bathrooms. I made two cool toliets out of 5 gallon buckets and garbage bags. It was was a really weird situation, and it made me chuckle. All in all it took about two hours. Later that night I cleaned for about 5 hours at the church and then, at 11, I went to the theater to clean. I was subing for Noah Way who was at children's camp (actually he's back now because of the lice, which it turns out none of the kids from our church actually had). I met and worked with Bob and Sneaky Sal. Luckily, I wasn't tricked into doing any of Sal's work. I think our assistant manager, Dan (who's also a cool guy) threatened him or something. Bob's cool but I couldn't understand him, probably because he's old and he doesn't have any teeth. I got back here at about one, and now I need to go to bed so I can get up for a wedding tomorrow. The fun never ends. :)
June 8, 2001- Well, it's not really the 8th, actually it's almost 5 in the morning on the 9th. I told some people the address today, so I guess I have to make regular entries. I just got back from Denny's. It was a busy day. I rolled out of bed a little after noon, and watched some Saturday Night Live and a couple episodes of Doug. Then I went to my grandma's house. We had perogis, not the crappy fake stuff that Marriot serves, but the good kind made by old Slavic people. It was good. Then I had to race back to work at the theater at 6. I got off at 10:30 and then cleaned at the theater from 11 to 3. My dad decided to do the relay for life walk at 2 in the morning for some odd reason. I went over to the high school and walked with him for a mile and a half. It was actually pretty cool. Then we went to Denny's, which was filled with more smoke then my grandma's house (that's a lot of smoke). There were there VU cops there. I was amazed to see that their cars actually have lights on their roofs. Looks like Olivet Security needs to invest a little more money to keep up with the competition (they may have had guns too, I'm not sure). Now, I am tired, so I'm going to go to bed. After all, I have to be at work in 13 hours, and I need a full night's sleep.
May 26, 2001- I've been really lazy for the past week and a half, of course since I haven't told anyone how to get to this site I supose it doesn't matter. I worked a lot today, and I haven't been feeling really well. I've been working on the site a little the past few days, so it will hopefully be done soon. I'm going to bed, because I'm really tired. *yawn*
May 14, 2001- I didn't do a whole lot today. I didn't have to work so I was just being lazy around the house. I caught the end of an episode of the old Batman TV show, and it had an "exciting" cliffhanger. Luckily, the next episode was on right after it. Otherwise, I'd have to wait until tomorrow to see if the Joker's robots would be able to force Bruce Wayne to crush the Boy Wonder to death in a comic strip press. It always seems like Adam West is trying to give some insightful monologue and Burt Ward is always pounding his fist into his hand and complaining about something or saying how stupid he is. It was even funnier then I remember it being. The rest of the day I spent working on this site, which I hope to have done by Thursday or at least as done as it can be.
May 12, 2001- Today was a very busy day. I worked about ten hours, which is a lot for me, especially on a Saturday. There was this really weird looking guy at the theatre. He had this weird red denim jacket and these bulging eyes. His hair was all spiky and he had several of those laminated picture Ids hanging around his neck. He sat leaning against one of the counters for at least ten minutes. All the while I was mopping up two pop spills which happened in about five minutes. The guy just looked weird and he had a soft voice that screamed “I’m mentally unstable, better not turn your back on me.” Otherwise it was an uneventful day. I saw the Mummy II last night and I thought it was okay. I’m still replaying some of the scenes in my head and realizing how much better I could have written them, but they didn’t ask me. Tonight I watched Saturday Night Live. The show isn’t as funny as it used to be, especially that one fat annoying guy.
May 10, 2001- This is the first entry in my online diary. I spent most of today working on this website, as I did the past few days. I got my schedule for the theatre today as well. I'll be working tomorrow and Saturday. I think that this page will be really cool, and it's going to look awesome. I'm going to work on the page some more before I go to sleep.
