Understanding Allergies is a donations supported service for allergy sufferers and those around them – family and friends, carers, employers and other interested parties. The first and most important thing to remember is that you are not alone, as patient or someone with concern for a patient. A large and growing section of society suffer from allergies at some time in their lives and a lot of medical and other research is going into isolating and fixing the problem. This site provides and overview of the medical history of the condition, conventional and alternative thinking and therapies, and other services for patients and carers. I have found it very useful to understand the condition I have in order to enhance my day-to-day management of the condition.
