Battledome Tips
Here are some great tips for you to use in the battledome. It especially helps people like me who can't seem to beat anybody no matter how hard we try.
1.It is most important to boost your pet(s)'s stats and level.
2.Buy your neopet Battle Items, these help, I'll tell you why later on this page.
3.TRAIN TRAIN TRAIN!!!!This is very important!
4.It is important that you know this- Levels that are lower actually sometimes tie, while higher levels can actually lose.
5.Be Careful! Ability powers do eventually run out.
6.Sometimes you have to rely mostly on battledome items. Try and rely on these near the end of the battle.
7. A lot of people cannot afford a Trident of Common Power(about 70000 np) or other expensive battledome items but try getting faerie weapons (around 10000 np) but you can try to work your way uo w/ some basics weapons.
8.A set of good basic weapons would be: Rainbow Gun, Sparkshooter, Basic (or improved) lightning beam, Bubble Beam (Level 1/2), Shields (Small wooden, Large Metal, etc.), Rainbow Flash, or others of your choice, and you can add up to 7 at a time.
9.I wouldn't recommend Faerie Items, because most are atleast 25000 np or up :P . Buying Pumpkin Shield is good and only costs about 3000 np, Grand Lightning Beam ( deals up to 10+ damage), Ultra Bubble Beam, Supersize Mega, Downsize Plus, etc. are good items to use for intermediate battlers.
10.If you are lucky, you can answer the Brain Tree's answers and get some good Halloween battle and defense items like Pumpkin Shield, Magic Branch, and Attack Shield. One time I got Brain Tree Splinters.
11.Although Neggery Neggs cost a lot of negg tokens they are good health boosters. Healthshrooms are also nice and cost less.
If you lose a battledome match, don't be frustrated! You can heal your pets and try again. You may be lucky and run across a random event saying all of your pets healed. I also recommend going to the Faerie Fountain to try and heal your pets.
