RAVEN'S PEOPLE.
My friends, relatives, enemies and David
Adrian (The Reason) Hyslop
I first met Adrian through Fox as they used to go to school together. Adrian is a good friend and drinking partner and although i used to be a complete cunt to Adrian and i don't mind admitting it, over time i realised that Adrian is a completely different person once you get to know him and I regret treating Adrian the way i did. We have become close and gone through a lot together, especially the time we spent in India when we saw Fox get married. Adrian is very intelligent and surprises me from time to time by coming out with something that you really wouldn't expect somebody like Adrian to say. He is very strong minded and has a great sense of humour. An all-round genuine decent bloke.

John (Fox) Kanagaraj
Fox is a former work colleague turned best friend. Fox is a unique guy. No matter what the situation, Fox always has something to say that makes you feel better. (The "Fox Philosophy".) Fox's real name is John and he works for Churchill insurance company where he is a sales rep. Fox is a down to earth, intellectual guy who i have a lot in common with. We both share an appreciation for eastern culture and philosophies particularly martial arts. Fox is a big fan of both Bruce Lee and Krishnamurti. In February of this year fox got married to Blessy. The ceremony took place in India and myself and Adrian both attended. It was a great experience, both seeing my best friend married and also the culture shock. Fox's wife Blessy is a wonderful, intelligent woman and i think they are just right for each other. Although I was sad at first because i thought i was losing a friend, i have gained another and I am very happy for them. Fox and I have shared many great experiences and I hope that we will have many more.
Dean (Nytemare) Saliba
Dean is my good friend turned drinking buddy . We have enjoyed many drinking sessions and have a lot of things in common such as our mutual love for football, comedy and of course beer. Dean plays for a non-league side called Acton Town in the Hayes and District league. I have a lot of respect for Dean as he has managed to overcome many problems in his life and never lets anything get in the way of him having a good time. He is a talented footballer, freelance journalist, website designer and all-round internet guru. I have known Dean for about 8 years but we have only become close in the last year or so. Dean has always been quite shy but recently i think that he is starting to emerge from his shell.
James Hopkins
It is not very often that you meet somebody like James. He is unique in the purest sense of the word. I have known James for about three years since we used to work together along with Fox. James was born to be a star. He is an extremely gifted singer and i know that it is only a matter of time before he gets his big break. James loves to be the centre of attention. People who mistake this as being egotistical don't know James properly. He is and a great guy to know. James works for a solicitor's firm in Stepney, East London, but his real passion lies in music. James is the lead singer of the band No More Heroes, and after hearing him sing on a number of occasions I can say that he is very talented and will go far. The band are on the verge of superstardom.
Alfie Tomkins
I met Alfie just over a year ago when we were assigned to the same company in the west end. Although i only worked with Alfie for one week, every now and again you meet somebody who you just like instantly, and Alfie was one of those guys. Since leaving Reuter Brooks, Alfie has a new job in king's cross and seems to be doing alright. Since then me and Alfie have enjoyed many drunken karaoke sessions in the Edinburgh Cellars. He is an absolute diamond of a bloke and when he moves away soon i would hate to lose touch with him.
Steve Fossett
Steve is also a former employee of London Air Travel PLC where i met Fox and James. Steve is a top bloke who is always a great laugh to be with. Recently he has moved away from London and moved in with his girlfriend Emma. Steve and Emma are expecting their first child. I miss our drinking sessions particularly him taking the piss out of my clothes, my hairstyle and my mum.
David (Daz) Miller
I have known David for about 6 years or so ever since he started living around the estate. Me and him had our differences in the past but then i guess we both grew up a little bit. David has a mental condition which makes him want to fight everyone he sees. I gotta hand it to him, he is not scared of anyone, but he doesn't know when to stop. At times he was a dick, but now he has changed quite a bit and got himself a job and moved away with his girlfriend amanda, who are also expecting thier first child. I wish them both all the best.
Wayne (The Animal) Saliba
Wayne is Dean's younger and much larger brother. I first met Wayne when he and Dean used to play football in the cage down by the canal club. He and David lived together with David's uncle Alan for a few years until recently when David moved out to be with his girlfriend. Wayne is a genuine bloke despite what people say. At times he can be lazy and he is to be avoided when drunk, but underneath all that he is a decent guy who has a lot of confidence even if he doesn't show it.
Baran (Burgerman) Asan
Baran was of my closest friends and also one of my worst enemies. Although for some considerable length of time he was the person i spent most of my time with, he would still not hesitate to find any opportunity to screw me over for his own enjoyment. However, times changed and Baran became a different person when he moved away. Although I hated him sometimes, Baran was still a good friend and we had a lot of good times together. Baran now lives in Bournemouth where he owns a shop and is doing very well for himself. It has been over a year since i last saw him and I would love to see him again although he keeps saying he will come back to London to visit he never does.
Desmond (Black Prince a.k.a Magnolia Slim a.k.a Duttydes a.k.a. Des) Des.
East London's finest poet, philosopher and freestyle rapper. Des is a man of many talents and a big hit with the ladies. I first met Des whilst drinking in the Hayfield pub just over a year ago when he came up to the table me and my girlfriend were sitting at and began to serenade us in freestyle rap. Des can rap about any subject, be it cauliflower, spanners, Margaret Thatcher or the outer Hebrides. However, his favorite subjects include gash and hash (whatever they are.) He is an all-round character and a good laugh.
Sam
Sam is my cousin. He is one of these people who has a good head on his shoulders and is destined to go far. Me and Sam used to be close but somehow we drifted apart. Sam now lives with his girlfriend and works at an estate agents in Bow, still as cocky as ever.
The End.
Okay, so he's not a real person. But The End is my hero. He is a character from the video game Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and he's a bad guy, a member of the cobras unit. His name comes from the emotion that he carries into battle with him, the feeling of absolute oblivion. The End is 183 years old and is a master sniper, hailed as the father of modern sniping and of all sniping techniques. He uses a Russian built sniper rifle. The End has moss growing on the inside and outside of his body, which is photosynthetic, and because of it he can survive for days, even weeks, without moving or sleeping, eating or drinking because of the energy provided by the moss. It is the reason that he has lived to an incredibly old age. He is a master of camouflage and and a psychological killing machine who sees into the mind of his adversaries and uses their weaknesses against them. He is the all seeing eye who watches his target like a hawk and can strike like a cobra from over six miles away, lying in wait for his victims. He'll blend into the environment and will never be seen. When not in a battle situation, The End spends almost all of his time asleep in his wheelchair. Nothing is known about his true identity.
