What hooked me on J&M, you ask?
Well, I've always enjoyed them and rooted for them, but I was always a Marlena fan first. It wasn't until the scene with J/M in the hospital after Marlena was caught, that I turned hard-core J&M fan. John was determined to find an explanation for the SKillings and Marlena was very confused and really needed him and the moment when John goes up to her and they ever so tenderly kiss....I cried...I CRIED!! I had NEVER cried watching a soap opera before...and I hardly ever cry watching movies or anything else. I'm pretty emotional in real life, but for some reason I don't usually cry at movies/tv....so THAT'S how I knew they were special...they're the only couple that's ever envoked that much emotion in me that I actually cried...lol...after that I cried a couple more times....when John visits Marlena in jail and she tells him to give her ring to Belle and when she died, but the hospital scene really did it.

Ok, people...I think this is like my biggest pet peeve ever...but it's J&M, not "Jarlena", "Jammers" or "MarJohn" or any other "cutesy" combo name you can come up with. I can't figure out why people just don't get THIS!! Most J&M fans refer to themselves as such and therefore it is in fact disrespectful to ignore their wishes. It's even WORSE when the mags actually start printing it, but of course, they are oblivious. All they care about is selling their mags and not the fans' actual feelings. Well, they'd better learn beacause insulted readers don't buy magazines! John and Marlena are a strong, solid couple and they don't need any "cute" name to make an impression.
