Hello everybody. This is the only place where men like me can vent out their anger. At home if I do slightest of reaction against my wife's violence, I get caught in the DV act and the 498a IPC.
I dont know how any sane government can pass such laws. As if 498a was not sufficient to harass a man's family, they have given another weapon, the Domestic Violence Act. Y goodness. My wife openly threatens me, my mother and my father who is a senior pcs officer. She openly says "sabko maaroongi". She beats me with scale. When I try to run away she says "yahin khade raho warna baahar jaa ke shor machaungi ki tum aur tumhari maa mujhe dahej ke liye maar rahe hain"...then she shouts at her full in the balcony.
Pllllllllllllsssssssssssssss help...........

I am not sure whether your problem is solved or not, if not i have a suggestion record all her such harassments audio/video , mobile is a very easy device to record or pen camera also available in the market, try to record at least 3-5 such incidents, this will help you as evidence in the court.
