History of Elbonian and Dwarawatian Trance Dances 1743-1752

Elbonian trance dances during this period took place in the following settlements: Elbonia City, Jaran, Kepang, Reog, Kuda, Lumping, Dan Tari, and Kesurupan in general.

The trance dances, started at the wedding during this period. King Kresna of Dwarawati, when planning the marriage of his beautiful daughter, Princess Titisari to Prince Irawan of neighbouring Madukara. His elder brother, Bing Baladewa of Mandua, arrives unannounced and insists on his right, as head of the family, to break off the engagement. He has arranged for Princess Titisari to wed Prince Lesman of the Kingdom of Astina instead.

Meanwhile, King Kresna has sent the bride-to-be's brother, Prince Samba, off to see Irawan's father Prince Ardjuna, to try and break off the wedding. Ardjuna, enraged at this slight, decides to break up the marriage of his elder son Abimanju, to Titisari's sister, Siti Sendari, and sends her back to King Kresna in retaliation.

Prince Lesmana of Astina, the choice King Baladewa to marry his brother's daughter Titisari. Baladewa has gone to escort Lesamna to Kresna's palace for the wedding.
