This Summer i went to texas for 2 weeks, er... 11 days to be exact - to visit Emily, of course. I had a lot of fun while i was there and really wish i could go back, so i decided to make a page of what i did in texas.
I was sick before i went to texas, for like 3 days. My mom didn't want me to go. I had a fever. I couldn't breathe. Texans don't like sars. But thats ok, because at the airport i just answered "no" when i had to fill out the form that asked me if i had a fever, and if i trouble breathing. They didn't have a temperature scanner like the rumours say. After my very long and tedious plane ride on a plane the size of a bus, i arrived in the Dallas/Fort Worth airport. It was really cool, there were stars *everywhere*. As i learned, Texans are very patriotic. There are stars, flags, and maps of texas all over the state. The next few days were *very* hot. 47 degrees hot. Hottest temperature in arlington for 30 years hot. Yup, i got the real deal when it came to texan heat. After that there was a lot of rain, and thunder storms. I got all the weather, because i'm so special. While i was in texas, we went to the mall a few times, Albertsons (grocery store), A texan steak house, and a rodeo. I had strep throat the whole time i was there. I guess that is why i was sick before i went. Things that suck in texas: Chocolate, Corn Pops, And the kool-aid looks ugly. Also, there are a lot of bible thumpers, and Bush lovers. Things that are amazing in texas: EMILY, the big ass BULLS, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and apparently the clementines (although i didn't have any). There's a lot of highway, and big malls with ice rinks. The water comes out of the hose warm all the time, too. I wanna go back to texas. |
