Residing at Wood Duck is an impressive rottie girl who actually thinks she is a labrador. Coming from Rott Irons Kennel in Billerica, MA, Onyx is a beautiful, intelligent, graceful girl.

Shown here with Jeanne, Onyx not only took Best of Breed but took a Group 4 adding to her points for her Canadian Kennel Club championship. Onyx became a Canadian CH finishing under respected judge Mr. Jack Ireland at the St. Francis Kennel Club show 6/14/03. Many thanks to the many judges who brought her to this championship. Comments made of her like that from judge Mr. Jamieson Glenndenning "what beautiful condition she is in" is a tribute to her fine breeding and her running with the labs....
In May Onyx was V-rated at the Housatonic Rottweiler Club handled by Jane Hobson.
As of June 22, 2003, Onyx had 9 points towards her AKC CH. She only needed her "majors" to finish. Handling her to these have been owner Jeanne and handlers Jane Hobson, Beth Coviello Davis and Jennifer Leitao. The icing on the cake however was 8/30 and 8/31/03 shows (Newton Kennel Club and Sussex Hills Kennel Club) where Jane and Onyx took Best of Winners both days for her 2 majors. Yahoo a new Champion.
What a year 2003 was . V-rated in May, Canadian CH in June and now American CH in August.
