The Dough: When Avril Needs a shoulder to cry on, she turns to Evan, whom she calls her best friend. Evan, 20, is the only non-canadian member of the group. He's from Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to working with Av, Evan broke in with bands Spitfire and the Suburbanites. Today, he is the lead gutarist and also sings back-up to Avril. Adorable Evan has become fan friendly and has tons of sites dedicated to him. Word is he will soon be engaged to guild member Alicia! But SHH! No one must know! The two met back in April, the 27th to be exact, and hit it off with a dance and hugs! (He he!)

The Dough:Bassist Charlie Moniz has taken to shaping Avril's Musical Taste. "For her B-day I got her AC/DC, The Clash, and the new Me First - your straight forward rock n' roll, rock-punk, and post punk." Despite his varied taste, Charlie is espeically a big Avril fan. How big? Charlie was a drummer until her learned Avril needed a bass player. So he quit his band and learned bass as quickly as possible to be a part of Avril's band. Formerly a member of the canadian punk group Grade, this 22-year-old hails from Toronto, Canada

The Dough:As it is typical in any rock band, the drummer is the class clown. There isn't much Matt won't do or say for a laugh. When asked to reveal something about Avril, he offered, "She picks her nose and eats it?!" Despite his comedic antics, Matt saves all his energy for the stage, where his thumping beats drive the rhythm of Av's music. The 22-year-old from Ajax,Ontario got his break in the music biz in a rock band with Cone from Sum41 called Closet Monster.

The Dough:Jesse got his chops playing in an Ontario punk band Closet Monster. The 22-year-old Ajax, Ontario native has also played with AWOL, Suphler, and The Oisters. This wild guy, with some times blue hair and earrings, looks like he could be the fourth member of Blink-182. While the music he's been playing with Avril and the guys is a little more pop than what he's used to, he points out that it still has edge. Jesse's punk roots have been rubbing off Avril. Heavily influenced by alternative rock groups of the early 90's, Colbourn's been turning Avril on with his CD collection. "I gave her some Smashing Pumpkins and the Pixies,"he says. "I started her off on some more palatable ones and then moved to some rougher stuff and she was like,'I don't know about that!'" Jesse and Avril have been dating for almost a year but only on and off. Above is a pic of them in June being interuppted by cameras during their get-away.
