We supply 100% cotton, Australian-made nappies. Fluffy and absorbent. The best quality available. We supply a nursery bin with a lid. We suggest 60 nappies per week for a newborn girl and 70 for a newborn boy - that's what the majority of our clients use, but you can book for any number of nappies (in quantities of 10) and the number of nappies can be changed at any time. You only pay for what is actually delivered, so if you reduce the number of nappies delivered, you receive a credit for the difference in cost, and if you increase the quantity delivered, you will owe us something at end of service. We can do a pre-birth delivery for you. We deliver the first load of nappies (usually about 1 week before the due date) and then we put the service on hold. That way, you have clean nappies to come home to, and you can ring to activate once you are settled in at home. We pick-up and deliver once a week, (twice weekly some areas) at about the same time each delivery day. Once a week has proven sufficient because of the way we do it :- The nappies are delivered in bags of 10 or 20. Just line the bin with one of the bags the nappies come in, take the nappy off the baby, drop it in the bin and shut the lid. YES! IT IS THAT EASY! There is no need to soak, rinse or wash. Then, when there are 20 nappies in the bag, (there is no need to count nappies, when one bag is empty the other bag is full), squeeze the air out and tie a knot in the top creating an airtight seal, keeping the odour at bay. We have very strict quality control policies to ensure that the quality of the nappies you receive is always of the very best standard.
Hospital Standard Washing Each nappy is processed under stringent hospital-standard wash processes, which consist of :
The detergents and sanitisers used in the wash process are supplied by a major Australian-owned and -operated chemical company, which is accredited to AS ISO 9001 (the Australian equivalent to world-standard best practice). The chemicals used in the wash process are completely neutralised during the wash process. The wash process is monitored on a weekly basis to ensure that it continues to meet the AS4146 standards. |
