Every so often a series comes along that revolutionizes its genre. This is one of those serieses. Sega's NFL 2K1 boasts ultra realism. It offers franchise and playoffs modes that are rather detailed and make it seem like you are really a member of proffesional football. The graphics were rather good for its day, since n64 and playstation games weren't able to display is many polygons per second. Perhaps the most awesome thing about this games is the online play. Seganet allows you to play with up to seven other people at a time, so it isn't very likely that you will get tired of this game. The NFL 2K series is the best out right now for great football simulation. I must warn you though that at the time that I'm writing this review, Seganet is virtually defunct, but you still may be able to play this game on a different site. For a few bucks, go and pick up a used copy of this game. It's worth it. SCORE: 8.9/10
