According to Aeric Wong: A brief synopsis, a photography student receives a letter from his dead girlfriend (played by Ryoko Hirosue) from New York. Along with the letter is a large number of photographs that she took in New York. That would be fairly strange in itself, but the photographs are so powerful and moving it was as if she has managed to capture all that epitomizes the very essence of New York.
