I am Chrios Sparkiban, Magus of the Rift. I come from a reality separate from your own. My ability to manipulate natural, supernatural and psionic energies allows me to open Rifts in the fabric of space and time, creating a Gateway through which matter may pass through the many branches of the Multiverse. This is how I came here, and how, in time, I will move on. I've come here in search of a fugitive, who uses naturally occurring pseudo-rifts to escape the law in one world and plunder the next. His method is crude and easily tracked, but he's a wily fox who will stop at nothing to get what he desires, and is extremely adept at blending in with the general population. I have tracked him through two dozen different realities, tracked his exploits through countless realms of man and beast, gods and demons. I've seen him usurp thrones, destroy civilizations, raise armies and lay waste to entire planets. I have managed to foil many of his plots, and undo some of his damage, and I believe I am close on his tail, but still he eludes my grasp. Now I believe he is here, hiding in your world while plotting his next scheme. He may take many forms, but soon I will be able to produce a psychic rendering of his true self, and finally know exactly what to look for.
