    Mircosoft ® Outlook

If you're not connected to a network, or if you don't have multiple screename, you probably don't use outlook to it's full potential.

Outlook is made for networks and includes calendars, an address book and a pop3 account. This is ideal for intranets and schools who want to communicate with students, teachers, and staff members. On the off chance you actually use Outlook on your personal computer here's the info on it.

    The Calendar

Open the calendar portion, click on the day you wish to add an event on...type and it magically appears.
You can change it to day, month, or week, and go into great detail about appointments and places to be.
You can also set times on when the event happens and automatically add Birthdays and Anniversaries from your address book.

    The Address Book

If you've ever had an address book on the computer before, you know the program.
Select New, then contact (or person). Fill out the information and it appears in the address book.
It's really not too exciting, besides no one fills out all the information on it. The most common fields are phone number, e-mail, and address.

    E-mail

Addressing the pop3 accounts. If you're not on a serves or intranet then don't bother.
Setting up a profile is easy, but you might have to go into the control panel and delete other ones.
Normally if you open Out look for the first time you have to make a profile name...which can be anything.
Setting up the account depends on the server. Which changes the mail tags.
If you have an administrator above you, you might have a special password that is given to you, although the adim. can change it, if you want.
Checking your e-mail consits of hitting the "Send/Recieve" button. You also must hit this if your e-mail didn't send the first time.

Outlook itself is pretty easy to figure out. Just play with it a little, and you can master it in no time.
