MacrosMaking your own...and figuring out what the others are.Depending on the program, you can record a marco, it's just not always in the same place. Once you find it in the menu, click record a marco and do some normal task in that program. If it's word set up a heading, or columns, or some feature you use all the time. Stop the recording when your done and save the macro. You have just made your own macro. Now instead of doing the 4-5 steps you normally do to complete a task you now can just do it with a single click of the button. There's definantly a huge advantage to using macros to do things. Every Icon, even on your desktop is a macro. If you click a file all the work going on in the background to open that file is a marco because it has to go to your hard-drive, the directory, the folder...etc. Macros have really changed the computer, making it even more user friendly. For those who do graphic editing you can set macros to auto-enhance things and set it up so that it's ready for you. Instead of going through a hundred mouse click, with one you accomplish the same purpose. © 2003 helevorn |
