1/21/06:
"The last few months can only be described in one word-Busy. I can't begin to thank everyone enough for their enormous support in 2005. 2006 will be another big year for 14mercy, you can bet on that."-NNMaddox
Ok, let's get you up to date on all things NNMaddox and 14mercy. First off, and more importantly, NNMaddox released his 4th solo album Kelly Clarkson And The Rainbow Kaleidoscope. It's a psychedelic masterpiece that we'll tell you more about soon. You can listen to sound clips on NNMaddox's CD Baby page.
The second Ringworm album, Lindsay Lohan (Raw) was also released. NNMaddox and the 14mercy all-stars join forces again for a second tribute to the teen queen. Maddox considers (Raw) to be a giant step up from the band's debut album Lindsay Lohan IV (ZOSO).
Former Georgia Home Boy guitarist and vocalist Todd Zombie teamed up with NNMaddox again for his long-awaited solo debut Todd Don't Like Ugly. It features Todd's signature sound along with classic NNMaddox production. With Todd Don't Like Ugly, you get 11 hard-hitting, abrasive yet beautiful tracks, and one killer headache. Great work, Todd.
Finally, much thanks goes to The Booker Show for playing some original comedic songs by NNMaddox. Chris Booker, an entertainment personality based in New York City, hosts a nightly radio program from 7-11 PM EST on 92.3 Free FM. Be sure to listen for NNMaddox's songs, and also for Booker and the gang's craziness that occupies the airwaves in the Tri-State area. Thanks for the support, Booker Show and Free FM.
10/23/05:
We really apologize for the lack of updates. NNMaddox and his 14mercy army have been extremely busy though, and you can see all of the latest releases at the 14mercy CDBaby Page.
The best way to contact NNMaddox about anything 14mercy related is to visit his official myspace site.
Thanks to EVERYONE that has downloaded 14mercy tracks from iTunes. Our albums have been very successful due to digital downloads, so we thank you for being a part of it. Keep it up, and drop us a line on myspace, or e-mail.
Some quick notes about new releases:
Be on the lookout for Factor(x), a new electronica band that NNMaddox and (H)aig formed, and the return of THE ABANDONED NUTSACK!!!!!
More details to follow!
7/23/05:
The re-release of the Georgia Home Boy albums had been delayed due to a conflict with Jimmy Haig's widow, Geneva Haig. Both parties eventually came to an agreement, and all four of the classic albums will finally be available on CD.
Erin Smogor, whose track "Derek" recently peaked at #555 on amazon.com's charts, including #11 in New Wave, released Erin Smogor Goes To Jail this past week. It features some amazing collaborations with Georgia Home Boy singer/guitarist Todd Zombie as well as NNMaddox and Reverend Ezell Jenkins.
Goes To Jail features wild interpretations of traditional songs such as "Yankee Doodle" and "When The Saints Go Marching In." Smogor also adds her wacky commentary in ambient tracks like "Geof The Irate" and "The Prison Diaries."
She also takes on self-help TV personality Dr. Phil on "Dr. Phil Vs. Erin Smogor" in a hilarious mock-TV-show segment.
7/10/05:
Download the video to "Church And The State," a sneak preview to the collaboration with Cadillac Michigan. The video features random images of both Maddox and Cadillac Michigan, as well as snippets of craziness from German TV. The is the latest project the two has worked on, and the first one to have a music video! Download it at Cadillac Michigan's official site http://www.cadillacmichigan.de.vu/ and let us know what you think!
Myspace users will be happy to know that NNMaddox has a personal myspace account at http://www.myspace.com/nnmaddox
Ringworm also has a Music site at http://www.myspace.com/ringwormmusic
Be on the lookout for NNMaddox music sites on myspace, as well as Georgia Home Boy and Todd Zombie
7/1/05:
Look for the previously unreleased Georgia Home Boy albums to finally make their way to the public. The first of the series, Candy Cigarettes, features some of the original GHB tracks written in 98-00, including "Resident Satanist," "Irate," and "Skeleton Key."
Georgia Home Boy was a legendary band consisting of NNMaddox, Todd Zombie, Reverend Jenkins and the late Jimmy Haig.
Maddox decided to release the material due to high public demand.
In other news, Ringworm, the 14mercy all-star band has officially released Lindsay Lohan IV (ZOSO). This record is a wacky collection of nonsense and insanity. Look for it on iTunes soon. It is currently availabe at cdbaby and amazon.
Also, look for all four Georgia Home Boy albums to be released soon. You can find their website on the Official 14mercy site.

The biggest news though, is the collaboration with Dortumund, Germany's Cadillac Michigan of the rock group Speedway69. Another one of his projects, Bathroom Feelings, released an album entitled Constant Hiss and Crackle which is right up NNMaddox and the rest of 14mercy's alley.
check it out at this site

Several songs have already been completed, and it's well on its way to being the biggest, baddest fucking thing on the planet. Enough Said

First off, Gateway To Cancer Alley rests at #512,562 on the amazon.com charts. It's things like this that makes it all worthwhile, people!
Pepper Shaker is DONE. By far the most accessible of NNMaddox's album is complete. It will be on Cdbaby's site within a few weeks. amazon.com and it's affiliates will follow shortly thereafter.
A page on the brand new album is in the works, and we'll give you a song by song analysis. What we can tell you here now is the official tracklisting:

Mike Macharyas Presents Avril Lavigne is a 14 song opus that relies only on the power of repitition and not the conventional aspects of the pop song. Listen as Mike Macharyas of The Jimmy Haig Experience fame drills the names of pop culture's finest and worst into your skull with Charles Dysan's earth-shattering guitar playing screaming in the background.
More details soon!
Another major news item is the 14mercy livejournal! No, this is not your typical livejournal. We won't talk about the movie we saw last night, or how we just feel like nobody understands us! BOO HOO! Instead this is a page that will allow us to update the doings of the 14mercy roster on a regular basis and provide information on the upcoming releases and recording sessions.
Today's entry actually focuses on the origins behind NNMaddox's album Gateway To Cancer Alley. You can access the journal at http://www.livejournal.com/users/14mercy

April 16, 2004:
"Cocaine Christmas" to be the first single off Gateway To Cancer Alley. The tracklisting for the single will be announced shortly.
Cancer Alley will be released in early June of 2004. NNMaddox recently did a photo shoot with Lori Baily, who appeared on The Jimmy Haig Experience's POEMS FOR GIRLS THAT STRAIGHT UP REJECTED ME. The album's artwork is being finalized at the moment. You will not be disappointed!
Lori's work can be seen at
www.atramental.com
In other news, Maddox has taken on producing tracks from a very exciting project, Dick Mac (Alive!). This is a very unique production using the opinions and stories of Dick Mac set to music.
Mr. Mac recently wrote a blog about both POEMS FOR GIRLS THAT STRAIGHT UP REJECTED ME and Long Island Baby. You can read his blog here!
Congrats to Dick and his wife on baby Charlotte!
We'd like to welcome Joe Jacob into the Maddox camp. Joe is a very talented guitarist that is very excited about lending his skills to our projects. This leads me to the news of his performance of a reworking of a Haig track "Sci-Fi" that appeared on a promotional single. You can read more about that in the .

December 28, 2003: Sorry for the lack of updates people. Unlike most artist sites where there are minimal updates, it's not because NNMaddox is doing nothing. In fact, the exciting news for you all is that Maddox has TWO new releases for early 2004.
The first is his second solo album Gateway To Cancer Alley, which features seven wonderful songs that take on a more hard rock edge. This album has been completed for a while now and I know you will all love it. Maddox revisited an old song from 1998, with "Tell Her I'm Dead", a song about dealing with someone's drug addiction. Other tracks tackle the topics of Maddox's late uncle, the serial killer of Baton Rouge, travelling the country in 2001, and mocking the drone metal bands selling millions of records today.
Tracklisting for Cancer Alley
1. Cocaine Christmas LISTEN HERE!!!!!
The second release is Maddox's first as producer for the The Jimmy Haig Experience. The Haig Experience is a combination of over 15 talented musicians from all over the world reading and performing the works of deceased poet James Haig, who produced "The Blue Ruse" from Long Island Baby. A small mini-site will be created shortly for this album. Maddox mixed the entire album, does vocals on five tracks, and produces the bulk of titles, some with the help of the late Haig himself.

7. Finally, congratulations to Johnny Skidmarks, former Maddox colleague. We wish him, and his new bride happiness and success.
July 28, 2003: Maddox is banned from all Virgin Megastores across the globe.
July 26, 2003: Maddox and Steven Stark record "Talkin' 'Bout Doo Wop," a silly song fusing scat, doowop, and utter stupidity. Lucky for you, we have the clip uploaded JUST FOR YOU!!
July 18, 2003: Very exciting news. The "#1 Hunny (Calypso Shit Remix)" has been recorded. It features a brand new mix on the Long Island Baby classic. This single will prove to be a mix of "#1 Hunny" and also some outtakes.
Sorry about the lack of updates. We will get on this soon
June 19, 2003: Big news. The tracklisting for the single has been finalized. Two additional songs for it have been recorded. One is a clip of some fun we had a few years back, and the other is Maddox's song for his sister Melissa. We're trying to make this CD a multimedia one, but that's still in the works. Check back soon.
June 5, 2003: Ok, so we lied. There's an update. NNMaddox would like to announce that all of your requests will be mailed soon. Also, the tracklisting for the "#1 Hunny" Single will include (at least)the album version, the acoustic demo, the radio edit, along with a shortened version of "Make Believing You're Mine". Additional tracks will be announced soon.
June 2, 2003: Big news!! Two more songs done. More info on this upcoming album in the future. But for now, you'll have to wait, because we don't want to spoil it for you.
Now for the bad news: No updates for a week or so. Keep your requests coming, we appreciate your interest. We will get to you ASAP. Thanks for your support. Lots of goodies to come in the future. Talk to you all soon.
Major thanks to Barbarella for playing "Make Believing You're Mine," "#1 Hunny," and "Passing Time" on her radio station last week. Very exciting!
May 31, 2003: New pics up. Apologies for the delay. Happy birthday to DEmerson. You can check out a pic of DE and Maddox in the new pics section. More CD's mailed out to you guys. More on the way too.
Be on the lookout for a CD single for "#1 Hunny" soon. We'll keep you updated.
May 27, 2003: Pardon the lack of updates. Busy week in the Maddox camp. First off, Maddox and Dysan have finished the song "Court Jester". This version features a bluesy guitar riff and vocals reminiscent of a live night club show. Dysan and Maddox also attempted a very old song, from 1998, to mixed results. More work will have to be done on this song before it sees the light of day.
The most pleasant news this week though, is the experimental song discussed in 5/19 is near complete. It's unlike anything from the days with the band or Long Island Baby.
Also, if you'd like to send in reviews of Long Island Baby, please do so by e-mailing us at nnmaddox2000@yahoo.com. Thanks everyone!
May 19, 2003: Maddox would like to thank everyone for sending in their addresses and showing interest in Long Island Baby. So far, it's been a whopping success. In other news, Maddox tested an experimental song today that hopefully will appear on a future release.
"I'm not sure if it'll appear on the next album, or any one for that matter, but I've had an idea for this song for months now, and I finally put together some lyrics for the music I had for it. If all goes well, you'll see it on the next album, but as of today, it's still in embryonic stages."
May 18, 2003: Maddox and Dysan re-record the version of "Court Jester" that will appear on the next album. After a long recording process, Dysan was able to piece together several fragments of guitar, drums and vocals to create the finished version, which is over eight minutes long.
May 16, 2003: Same song on 5/12 re-recorded. This version is far more refined and more to what Maddox was envisioning. It clocks it at over seven minutes and was entirely recorded and produced by Maddox
"I think I would call it a mock heavy metal anthem. It borrows some cliched lyrics in those songs and it's either a satire or a tribute to them."
May 12, 2003 : Maddox lays down a new track. Described as his most abrasive song yet, this new song is near complete. Look for it to appear on the upcoming album.
May 11, 2003: Thanks all for listening to angel's broadcast. It was a smashing success.

May 7, 2003: Maddox and Charles Dysan rehearse two songs. One is to be included on Maddox's collaboration with Steven Stark, The Rigatoni Incident, and one, "Court Jester", for the followup to Long Island Baby.
"Court Jester" is a bluesy song that features Dysan's improvisational guitar licks with Maddox howling lyrics. This song is vastly different from anything they've done to date. Look for a possible audio clip in the future.
Fans who've asked for a copy of Long Island Baby, check your mailboxes soon, as copies were shipped yesterday. And as always, if you'd like to click here for details on how to reserve one!
May 6, 2003: LONG ISLAND BABY IS RELEASED!!!!! Click here to find out how to obtain a copy!!!
May 5, 2003: "Follow Me Down" is completed. Maddox calls this song "the most difficult project yet." A four-verse reading, this song details Maddox's life in the past five years.
May 2, 2003: Maddox lays down vocals for "Follow Me Down." The song is now being worked on, for possible inclusion on the next album.
April 30, 2003: Site Launches!
Maddox records a demo of a new song, entitled "Follow Me Down." This song dates back over a year, and is a confessional modern rock song about "digging yourself into a hole, and trying to re-emerge from it."
April 29, 2003: Second take of "Whiskey Bay." Unlike the first demo, this version features less backwards masking sound effects, and instead relies on the original vocal delivery with a funky/spooky bassline. The title refers to an area in Lafayette, Louisiana where a serial killer placed several of his victims.
