- First boil 1 litre of water (about 2 rice bowl)
then add the sachet of herbs into the boiling water and boil for another 15
mins.
- Clean the chicken and remove its head and feet then place it on the HDPE
wrapper. Apply emperor genuine herbs chicken spices onto the skin and inside
the body. Next, apply the herbs and herb water form step 1 onto and inside
the chicken (If some Shao Hsing Chiew is added, it is more tasty). Wrap
chicken with HDPE wrapper followed by Aluminium foil.
- Steam for about 2 hours under slow fire and ready to serve. Can also be
cooked with pork or mutton.
