This is where we will have the history of Halifax in the WoD. It will be interesting. I promise.

For example:

At 9:05am, December 6, 1917, in the largest man-made explosion before the nuclear weapon, Reality shuddered, and Halifax turned to dust. This is the start of our story, but it isn't the begining of Halifax's tale.

Long before the Europeans, there were the Mi'kmaq. They sang songs to the old spirits, danced in Umbral light, they fought alongside the Garou against the Wyldlings, against the Wyrmlings, against the rival tribes. The land was called Chebucto then, "The Biggest Harbour."

Who can say how long they lived there? Certainly from a time before their fathers' fathers, for they knew how to weave the quill of the porcupine - better than any other tribe - they knew the stories of the land, the creatures that thrived in the dark hollows of young forests and glacial stone.

But one day, the French arrived, bringing with them new magic - guns, farming, boats that traveled across worlds - and for a long time there was peace. The Mi'kmaq traded for weapons, and soon they were winning the endless wars they'd had with the rival tribes, the Algonquins, the Iriquois. The French took wives from the Mi'kmaq, and the Mi'kmaq took wives from the French. Soon the blood was so mixed that the two nations called each other "brother."

But rumours of war, war over the land that the Mi'kmaq called home, became all too real. The English wanted New France, and before any could prepare, treaties were signed and Halifax belonged to New Scotland.
