terrorist strats

THE BASE

Team9 from Sweden is one of the most successful clans in CS history and they are well known for their base strat that is the same on almost all maps, a 2-1-2 split. With this, they try to find out the positions of the defense and see if they defense tries to rush. Scouting out positions helps make a decision of where to rush to.

On dust2, the 2-1-2 split goes as so: 2 players watch outside of the tunnels, one looking near the tunnel entrance to B and one looking near the spiral staircase; 1 play watches mid and catwalk area, and the final 2 players watch the double doors at long. Screenshots of the 5 positions are shown below.

With this strat, all movement between b, middle, and long is to be done by going through the terrorist spawn unless otherwise noted. For example, if you're at b outside of tunnels and told to get to middle, run through our spawn, not through the tunnels.
