The Ultimate Wilderness Survival Guide For Fugitives

THIS SITE IS UNDER CONSTRUCTION AS OF 6/28/03. IT WILL BE COMPLETED SOON.

This guide will tell you about what you need to survive in the wilderness while being a fugitive. this guide will not help you if you are lost in a forest you have never been in. i assume you are about to go into hiding, or will have a need to in the future. this guide will tell you what materials you need to get, and tell you what to do before and during your hiding. i have written theis guide entirely out of my own experience, which only includes the area of northern georgia. Of course it will be different in other areas but it should have the same basics. also, it talks mainly about forest and woodland survival, not desert, tundra, high elevations, etc. all of the materials on the items list are intended to fit easily in or on a regular backpack. As you probably know, the forest changes a lot throught out the seasons, for example, in the winter, visibility is moderate to low, depending on if there has been any snowfall, fog, etc., and it will be cold. In the summer, in my experience, the visibility will be low to very poor, because of many overgrown plants, especially after havy rains. That being so, I have divided the guide into two parts, one for the summer, and one for the winter. Should you need to hide for amounts of time extending into both these seasons (eric rudolph style, the guy who just got arressed for the olympic bombings after he hid out in the north carolina woods for 5 years. now thats hardcore(not the whole bomb killing stuff etc, but the hiding, damn 5 years...)) just take info from both guides.
