A long time ago, there was a contigent of angels residing amongst the clouds. Above all else, they loved war. The carnage of men battling men gave them a rush not known to mortals.
God saw this and did not approve. Were angels supposed to protect everyone from the evils of war? Weren't they supposed to prevent such carnage? He pondered this
and came to a most drastic decision: they must be banished! The angels were upset at first to hear such things, but euphoria kicked in. They were free!
They retained their angelic abilities of immortality, intellect and the like, but they were seen amongst mortals. Now they were free to wreak havoc amongst the weak.
