Episode 9: A New Fight, and A man named Rune

Gaurds: You may not pass!

Man: I shall do what I want!

Gaurds: You have no business here. Tell us what you want.

Man: (Smirking) I do not have to tell you anything...

(The man pulls his sword from his sheeth and puts thr tip of th blade to 1 of the gaurds noses)

Man: Now, MOVE!

Gaurds: YOU MAY NOT PASS!

(The man raises his sword.)

Man: Last Chance...

Gaurds: Fireba... AHHH!

(Slice......................)




Lina: Hey Zel... what do you plan to do after your bady is back to normal?

Zel: Well... I did always want a family...

Lina: Oh... so we have a regular love bird on our hands?

Zel: Ok, thats enough. Amelia...

Amelia: (Blushing) Yeah?

Zel: How far are we from Seirun?

Amelia: About 3 days, Why?

Zel: Because I have a feeling this is all just going to be a wild goose chase...

Gourry: So, when Xellos brings Filia back, how is he going to change Zel back?

Lina: He didn't tell me that much, but I am guessing it's going to be a Holy plus Dark magic transfusion. Sort of like those 
2 artifacts from the 2 warring towns, remember?

Zelgadiss: Hmm... that makes sense. If they did that it might neutra... Huh?

(BOOM! The wagon is blown away and a giant dust cloud is sent up.)

???: Mwhahahahahahahaha... how could such pathetic creatures defeat Novvan twice?

Lina: Novvan... Who are you!?!

(A tall dark man walks from the dust. He is covered with a brown cape and wearing a tall brown hat. His face cannot be seen, 
because the shadow the hat casts covers it in an impenatrable darkness)

???: Allow me to introduce myself, I am here to kill you and your friends, you can call me Rune. I was going to wait a while 
to see what you are capable of, but if you were unable to kill Novvan, theres no point in letting you live any longer.

Lina: So your name is Rune, eh? And before we start, who is Novvan?

Rune: Heh, you fought him twice and he didn't even tell you his name. He can be rude sometimes... but then again, you blew up
 a tavern trying to kill him. He escaped of course, but not without his share of injuries.

Zelgadiss: That guy survived!?! I thought for sure he had died. Oh well, i guess we'll end up fighting him again at 
somepoint. He'll be wanting revenge. Ok now, lets get this on!

Rune: So be it...

Gourry: Light Come Forth! (He starts to run torwards Rune) AHHHHHH!

(Gourry takes a wind up with his sword, slices twice horizontally and once straight down the middle.)

Gourry: Heh, that wasn't so tough... wha? (Rune dissapears)

Rune: Heh, pathetic. You can't beat me with that sword alone, boy. (He reappears behind Gourry and grabs him by the collar) 
You couldn't beat Novvan, and you won't defeat me! (He throws Gourry back to the group)

Lina: I guess it's my turn then.
