The Slayers: Dominance
Episode 8: LETS GO! But First. . .

Amelia: Hey, miss Lina, why dont we stop at seiruun? Im sure daddy can help us!

Lina: Good idea! Now, all we need is a cairrage.

Gourry: Why not just walk? Or better yet, FLY!

Lina: (Hits Gourry on the head) Because its a 2 week hike, and I’m not lugging you all the way there.

Zelgadiss: (whispers to Gourrys ear) Plus, its that time of the month.

Lina: (punches Zel in the back of the head) Drop it! Now, lets find a caeeaige. (she hops up on a tall rock, looking around
to find a town) Damn, there arent any towns nearby.

Gourry: I have a better idea (looking around a bit) Aha! Zelgadiss, look. (he points to 2 horses grazing) Do you think you
can tame those horses?

Zelgadiss: Sure, its not too hard.

Gourry: Ok, then, Lina and I will make the carriage, and you two will get the horses.

Lina: Huh?

Gourry: Cmon! Lets get going! (He point to a small batch of trees and starts to unsheathe his sword)

Lina: Ok.

Zelgadiss: Come on Amelia.

Amelia: Coming (runs to his side) So, what do I do anyway?

Zelgadiss: Amelia, first things first, dont use magic. It will scare them. Have you ever lassoed before?

Amelia: No.

Zelgadiss: Ok, then take these (he hands her 2 pegs, and a small mallet) When I Lasso the 2 horses, I want you to peg the
rope to the ground. And stay away from them until I say so. Ok?

Amelia: Ok, I got it. I wonder how Lina and Gourry are doing.

Gourry: Get ready Lina. (Pulls his sword all the way out of his sheath)

Lina: Get ready for what?

Gourry: (swings his sword multiple time at the trees) TO RUN! (he turns around, picks up Lina, and runs)

Lina: HEY! PUT ME DOWN PUT ME DOWN! PUT, ME, DOWN!!!!

Gourry: Ok! (puts her down) Hmm, that didnt work right. Ok, uh, Lina can you cast a, ummm, that wind spell?

Lina: Bomb Dei Wind?

Gourry: Yeah that one, and aim it at the trees.

Lina: Ok. (Points her hands at the patch of trees) BOMB DEI WIND! (The gust of wind travels through the air, directly at the
trees) Hey, what is this supposed to do anyway?

Gourry: Just watch.

(The burst of wind hits the trees, sending them flying into the air)

Gourry: STRIKE! Now, lets go make a carriage!

Lina: All right!

(Gourry cut the logs into suitable pieces, and Lina used a rock golem to put the pieces together. After finishing, they go to
see the progress Amelia and Zelgadiss have made)

Zelgadiss: Are you guys done yet?

Lina: Yes, what about you two? (looks around to see the horses tied up and Amelia lying on the ground) And what happened to
Amelia?

Zelgadiss: We are done, but after we finished, one horse almost got away.

Gourry: How?

Zelgadiss: Amelia noticed it was hurt, and she decided to cast a healing spell on it.

Lina: And she got kicked in the face right? Did you tell her that horses are scared of magic, because they have not
experienced it in the wild?

Zelgadiss: Yes I did tell her that, but, obviously, she didnt listen.

Amelia: I thought you (winces in pain) meant attack spells, I didnt know you meant ALL spells.

Lina: Well, anyway, lets tie the horses into the carriage and get going! Gourry, bring the carriage. Zelgadiss, get the
horses ready. Cmon cmon! CHOP CHOP!

Gourry: You could help, you know. (Runs to get the carriage)

Zelgadiss: They are very fine horses. Young and powerful.

Lina: Good. They are going to need all the strength they have got to pull us all.

(Gourry returns with the carriage. They hook the horses in and they take off for seiruun)

Zelgadiss: With the time it took you to make, I at least expected a roof. This is more of a hay wagon.

Lina: Zel. . .

Zelgadiss: What is it?

Lina: Shut up.

(They ride off into the sunset, but what will happen over the horizon is unknown to them, only to me.)
