Rune: Novvan may have lost to you, but i assure you, I won't be defeated. Lina: Shut up and fight! (whispers to Zel and Amelia)Hey, Gourry and I will destract him, both of you smack him around with a Ra Tilt. (They Nod) FIREBALL! Rune: Heh, (He sticks 1 hand out and absorbs the fireball) now, I think this is yours. (He sticks his other hand out and the firball shoots back out twice its size). Gourry: (Absorbs the fireball with his sword) I can do that too you know. Lina. give me a boost. Lina: Ok. (Gourry starts to run torwards Rune) BOMB DEI WIND! (Gourry jumps just before the burst of wind hits him, and is sent torward Rune at an incredible speed) Gourry: HAAA! (He slams the sword down, right in front of Rune) Rune: You missed... hmm? Zel & Amelia: RA TILT!!!! (A burst of light engulfs Rune, along with a fiery explosion from Gourry's sword) Rune: AHHHHHHHHHHH! What is this! (His hat flies off to reveal a scarred, schorched face) YOU WILL PAY! (Rune sticks both hands out, and without saying a word, shoots a giant ball of dark energy at Lina) Zelgadiss: LINA! LOOK OUT! (It was to late, she did not have time to move out of the way) Amelia: LINA!!!!!! (BOOM! Everything goes black, the world is gone) Lina: (opens her eyes to see nothing but black once again) Huh? Xellos? Xelos: Lina, it's ok, your not dreaming this time. I was able to save you, but your friends are still fighting. You cannot leave this place just yet, your injuries are far too great to continue fighting. Just sit and hope for the best for your friends... Lina: Ow! My arm, i can't feel it. Xellos: Don't worry, the pain should subside soon, and you should regain feeling in your body. Meanwhile back at the fight Zelgadiss: LINA! Where is she!?! Rune: She's dead... of course... Gourry: She can't be dead! You're dead! (He starts running at Rune, but Zelgadiss grabs him.) Zelgadiss: We need to run! We cannot beat him here, not yet. (The three run, lukily there was a town close by but it was abandoned. All that remains are the buildings that were once inhabated.) Amelia: Won't he have followed us? Zelgadiss: *huff* i used a ilusionary spell on him just before we ran that made him think we ran the other way.. huh? (They all turn around to see that a giant gang of trolls is surrounding and entering the town.) Zelgadiss: (jumps onto a rooftop) DAMN! There must be hundreds of them! Gourry: Lina... where are you?
