The Slayers: Dominance
Episode 1/Chapter 1


The party of 4, Gourry, Lina, Zelgadis, and Amelia, are walking through the woods looking for a good place to set up their
camp. They come upon a clearing and they start to set up.

Gourry, a traveling mercenary, stands taller than the rest of the group. Though he looks cute with his black armor and long 
blond hair, he is as dumb as a rock.

Lina, a smart-assed sorceress, has long hair and wears red clothing with black sorceress armor. She loves Gourry, and Gourry 
loves her, but they do not even admit their love even to themselves.

Zelgadis, a chimera, is a shamanist sorcerer. He wears a grey outfit that covers most of his blue skin. He likes to make 
smart-assed remarks about Lina's mistakes.

Amelia, a sorceress in training, is a complete and total justice loving klutz. Nuff said.

Lina: Amelia! Go put up the tents! Gourry, get a fire going so we can cook dinner! Ohhh Zellll..... 
         How’s the fishing?

Zelgadis: We might be able to eat TONIGHT if you came over and helped....

(Lina walks over and plucks 1 of her long red hairs from her head. She ties it to a stick at one end and ties a worm to it on
the other.)

Zelgadis: Do you actually expect that to work?

Lina: Oh it'll work......

(Sitting around the fire, Zel and Amelia each grab a roasted fish and start to eat.)Gourry and Lina on the other hand, had a 
fish in each hand and were pigging out.)

Gourry: LINA LOOK OUT! 

(Gourry unsheathes his sword and intercepts the arrow that was sent towards Lina Everyone stands up and looks towards the 
shadowy figure standing just out side the clearing.)

Lina: SHOW YOURSELF!

??? : Your as smart assed as I have heard, you have no right to command someone who almost killed 
   you.

Lina: Oh really..? *she jumps into a tree behind the man and shoots a fireball straight it his head* 
   FIREBALL!

??? : You're wasting your time. (

he puts one hand out and deflects the fireball into the camp.)you’ll have 
??? : To do better than that... huh?!?

Zel : MONOBOLT! 

(Zel grabs the man's ankles and a surge of electricity runs through the mans body.)

(The man falls to the ground and completely disappears. A voice is heard from the vast darkness of the night. Although no one 
can be seen.)

??? : Lina Inverse you haven't seen the last of me!

Amelia: You know... this seems all too familiar......

Lina: Well anyway... where is the big pile of fish I put down just for me? 

(Lina looks around and sees Zelgadis point to the corner of the camp)

Lina: Hey that can’t be... that’s a smoldering pile of.... NOO MY FISH!!!!! WHAT HAPPENED!!!!

Zel: You remember that fireball you set off? When he deflected it, guess where it went.

(Lina falls to the ground in her normal shocked, hungry state. Gourry fell asleep before the end of the little skirmish. 
Amelia is still trying to remember where she has seen all this before, and Zelgadis takes the last fish left on the fire and 
starts to eat it.)
