NEWS:  10/3/03: Eve of Broken Trust  is the tentative title for the new album!

9/27/03: "Live Defying" the DUVEL DVD will be available soon. The last live show from all 4 original members. Contains complete concert, plus extras! 

9/20/03: DUVEL is taking a haitus for awhile. A new album should be out in the new year. Regretfully Donnie will not be returning for the next album. Due to outside desractions, financial reasons, and diffrences in direction of the band. Shaun, Ben, and Tony  will begin writing new material in upcoming months. Stick around!!!!!

We are a four piece band that originates from Pittsburgh, PA.

BAND HISTORY: Duvel is a band that formed from the remains of prior members bands and side projects. The short story : Prior to the inception of DUVEL, Ben and Shaun were in numerous bands together most recently: Kahn Dumb, and GOV. While Kahn dumb was on haitus so Ben could work on his side projects (C.O.I., Kringer, and solo work) and Shaun filled in for guitar duties for a 10SD show and was also working on his solo album. When Shaun was asked to start a band with coworker Tony. Which was known as 6's and 7's and severd' for awhile, went through many lineup changes which saw Donnie joining the band. When guitarists and singers weren't working out Shaun asked Ben to come to a rehearsal and check out their material. Ben was asked to join as the singer. He agreed to be a temorary fill in. And the band agreed to stay a 4 piece band.
