|-X-| BATISTA flickers on the titantron and the fans go crazy as the Genetic Revolution appears on stage. Batista stops at the top of the ramp and looks at all the fans as they cheer. Batista then makes his way to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. He makes his way over to the corner and climbs to the second turnbuckle. He looks at all the fans and flexes his arms as they cheer him louder. Batista then drops down off the turnbuckle and walks back into the center of the ring and looks up at the stage. He is awaiting one of the best this business has ever seen. |-X-|

|-X-| Just then a car wreck is heard all over the arena and the fans erupt as the strange alter ego of Mick Foley appears on stage. Mankind stops at the top of the ramp and looks at all the fans as he then begins to walk to the ring. Mankind gets to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. He has to be very cautious about this whole match because Batista is a young go-getter and will have no problem attacking anyone from behind. Mankind walks over to the ropes and raises his arm into the air. Mankind turns his attention back to Batista as they both walk into the center of the ring. |-X-|

|-X-| Batista and Mankind look each other dead in the eyes as the crowd cheer loudly. After a few seconds Batista fires a shot at the head of Mankind and Foley fires another shot back… Both men start trading blows until Batista finally lodges a knee in the gut of the Deranged One and backs him up to the ropes… Batista whips Mankind to the other side and Mankind bounces off the ropes. Mankind charges back at Batista and ducks under a closeline by the Genetic Revolution Batista. Mankind bounces off the ropes again and charges back at Batista. Batista fires a kick to the head of Mankind this time and Mankind hits the mat hard. Batista makes the cover and the referee begins to count… One, Two, Mankind gets his shoulder up. Batista lifts Mankind up to his feet and whips him into the corner. After a few seconds Batista charges into the corner and hits a massive splash to the hardcore legend. Batista backs away from the corner as Mankind staggers out of the corner. Batista is beginning to act cocky now and he shouldn’t be doing that. He is just playing with Mankind slapping the man. Mankind finally fires a right hand of his own back and follows that up with another quick punch. Mankind begins to back Batista up to the ropes and whips him to the other side. Batista bounces off the ropes and charges back at Mankind who knocks Batista to the mat with a massive shoulder block. Mankind lifts Batista back to his feet and starts pummeling him. Mankind lifts Batista to his feet a third time and whips him to the ropes again. Batista bounces off the ropes and Mankind dives at him and he has locked in that Mandible Claw on Batista. Batista is getting taken down slowly here. Batista drops to a knee but Mankind can’t seem to take him down any farther. Batista suddenly summons some strength and gets back to his feet and grabs Mankind by the neck. Batista lodges a massive knee in the gut of Mankind who releases the Mandible Claw. Batista hooks Mankind up for the Powerbomb and connects. Mankind hits the mat hard and Batista makes the cover as the referee dives to the mat to begin the count. One, Two, Three! Rhyno vs. Kurt Angle

|-X-| Rhyno's music hits and the Man Beast from the mean streets of Detroit, makes his way out from the back to a mixed reaction from the fans. He looks either side of him as he paces down the ramp forcefully. Rhyno then climbs up onto the ring apron and into the ring where he climbs onto the second turnbuckle. The Man Beast beats his chest with both fists before holding his arms up into the air. He climbs down off the turnbuckle and begins to pace up and down, waiting for Kurt Angle to walk out from the back. |-X-|

|-X-|Kurt Angle's music then hits and the fans start to chant "You Suck" and as the music continues, the chants get louder. Kurt doesn't look too pleased with the crowd's chanting but he walks halfway down the ramp, looking focused. He stops, throws his arms into the air and pyro's go off behind him. Kurt continues his way down the ramp and he stares right in Rhyno's eyes and he stands outside the ring. The Olympic Gold Medallist then jogs up the steel steps and into the ring where both men lock eyes once more.|-X-|

|-X-| Rhyno and Kurt waste no time in locking up in the center of the ring but Kurt quickly counters into a hammer lock. Rhyno managers to free himself but Kurt nails Rhyno with a kick to the gut. Kurt backs Rhyno into the ropes and he sends him into the ropes on the opposite side where Rhyno holds onto the top rope and Kurt reacts to Rhyno's counter by charging at him but Rhyno ducks and he backdrops Kurt Angle over the top rope and to the outside! The fans look on as Rhyno quickly climbs to the outside to take the fight to the Olympian. Kurt gets back to one knee as Rhyno nails him with a stiff right hand.|-X-|

|-X-| Kurt gets back to his feet, despite being hammered by Rhyno's right hands. The  Man Beast attempts to whip Kurt into the steel steps but Kurt puts on the breaks, turns around and catches Rhyno running in with a closeline! Kurt let's out a "woo!" as he seems proud of himself. He rolls into the ring and back out again, breaking up the officials count. Rhyno is back up and Kurt hammers him with a right hand, rocking Rhyno. Angle then attempts to lift Rhyno up with a suplex but Rhyno counters with a couple of punches to the rib-cage. Rhyno then rams Kurt's head against the ring apron before rolling him back into the ring. |-X-|

|-X-| Rhyno rolls back in as well and he stalks Kurt, taunting him to turn around. Rhyno looks like he's about to hit the Gore as Kurt turns around but as Rhyno charges at him, Kurt counters by booting Rhyno in the chest and knocking him off his feet. The Man Beast bounces back up off the canvas and runs at Angle but Kurt goes behind with the waistlock and he hits a German Suplex! Kurt holds on to the waistlock like a pit bulldog and he nails Rhyno with a second German. Not letting up, Kurt nails Rhyno with a third before getting back to his feet and taking down the strap on his ring attire. |-X-|

|-X-| Kurt looks ready to 'Go Olympic' on Rhyno as he grabs Rhyno by the ankle and he's about to lock in the Angle Lock but Rhyno quickly rolls onto his back and he grabs the bottom rope. Kurt pulls Rhyno away from the ropes and he locks in the Angle Lock! Rhyno is screaming in pain but he manages to roll through and he kicks Kurt away. Rhyno gets back to his feet and he runs at Angle and...GORE!! GORE!! GORE!! Rhyno hit the Gore but I'm not sure he got all of it. Both men are down as Rhyno is feeling the affects of those 3 German Suplexes.|-X-|

He climbs down and then steps into the ring where he runs off the ropes and prepares for what could be a slobber-knocker with 'Big Sexy' Kevin Nash. |-X-|

|-X-| The NWO Theme Music then plays and Kevin Nash struts out from the back with a grin on his face, looking happy to be on Smackdown. He walks down the ramp, grinning as he stares at The People's Champion who is pacing up and down, waiting to get his hands on Big Sexy. Nash grabs the top rope and he climbs up onto the ring apron but as he's about to step over the top rope, The Rock greets him with a huge right hand, knocking Nash to the outside! The bell sounds for the match to get underway as Nash gets to his feet on the outside, looking pissed.|-X-|

|-X-| Rock wants to go outside to take the fight to Nash but the referee is standing in his way. Nash climbs back up onto the ring apron and enters the ring but The Rock quickly pounces on him with right hands as he backs him into the corner. Rock hammers away at Nash with a couple of right hands but before The Rock can lay the Smackdown, Nash turns the tables on The Rock and he backs him into the corner. Nash nails Rock with a couple of knees to the gut and then a big reverse elbow to the side of the head.|-X-|

|-X-| The Rock looks dazed as Nash brings him out of the corner and whips him into the ropes. Nash goes for a Big Boot but Rock puts on the breaks, grabs Nash's trailing leg and he takes him off his feet with an awesome leg-lace take-down! Rock then steps through, looking to lock in the Sharpshooter but Kevin Nash quickly wriggles to the nearest set of ropes. Rock waits for Nash to get to his feet before hammering him with a couple more right hands. |-X-|

|-X-| Nash gets whipped into the ropes and Rock meets him as he bounces off the ropes with a closeline, almost taking the big man down. Nash is starting to lose his balance and The Rock runs off the ropes, going for another closeline but Nash scoops Rock up and he drills him into the canvas with a side-walk slam! Big Sexy seems to think he's done enough to get the win as he makes some-what of an arrogant cover, 1......2......Rock kicks out. Nash looks at the referee as if it say: "what the hell was that?". Nash pulls Rock up and he throws him back into the corner, against the turnbuckle. |-X-|

|-X-| Nash then charges at The Rock, looking to nail him with a closeline in the corner but Rock moves out of the way and Nash runs into the turnbuckle. Nash turns around as he staggers out of the corner and Rock hooks him up, looking for the Rock Bottom but Nash counters with a couple of elbows to the side of Rock's head. Rock staggers away, holding his head as Nash kicks him in the gut and he sets him up for the Jacknife but Rock counters with a backdrop! Nash staggers back to his feet and runs at The Rock but the People's Champion counters with a SPINEBUSTER! Rock then removes his elbow pad as the crowd start to go crazy!|-X-|

|-X-| Rock launches his pad into the crowd but as he is about to run towards the ropes, Nash grabs his ankle and pulls him back. Nash staggers to his feet and he blocks a right from The Rock and he counters with a kick to the gut which looked dangerously close to a low blow but the referee seems to let it go. Nash then sets Rock up and he...drills him with the Jacknife Powerbomb!! Nash makes the cover, 1.................2.............3!!|-X-|

Chris Benoit vs. Taz

|-X-| No Mercy flickers on the titantron and plays over the pa as the fans begin to cheer. After a few seconds Tazz appears on stage and stops on the top of the ramp. This man has become one of the most feared men in the business and it looks like he is going to carry on that legacy for a long time yet. Tazz makes his way to the ring and slides in under the bottom rope. He makes his way over to the turnbuckle and climbs onto the second turnbuckle. He folds his arms and the fans cheer for him. Whether you like Taz or you hate him, it’s really irrelevant. He’s a great athlete with a desire to win that is incomparable. Taz drops down off the turnbuckle and makes his way over to the ropes as he turns his attention to the stage. Taz is waiting on his opponent and this looks like it is going to be a massive match for both men involved. |-X-|

|-X-| CRIPPLER flickers on the screen and Chris Benoit’s theme plays over the pa as he appears on stage. Benoit makes his way to the ring and stops at the ring apron. Chris Benoit is quite possibly the best technical wrestler in the business today and he is smart out of the ring too so you can be sure that he isn’t just going to rush into this one. He is sure to be as calm and collected, as he needs to be to make sure that this match goes perfectly. Benoit finally slides into the ring and walks over to the ropes. He raises both arms into the air and the fans cheer as he drops them back down by his side and turns his attention to Taz. He walks into the center of the ring and is met in the center by Taz. Both men look each other dead in the eyes as the referee talks to them. The referee backs away and calls for the bell. The bell rings and Benoit and Taz back away from each other and start to circle the ring. |-X-|

|-X-| Taz and Benoit circle the ring for a few minutes and then lock up in the center. Benoit has control and is beginning to back Taz up into the corner but Taz turns it into a headlock. Taz begins to wrench it in and this may look like a weak hold but it wears a body down and is one of the most widely used moves of all. Benoit finally backs Taz up to the ropes and whips him to the other side. Taz bounces off the ropes and charges back at Benoit as Benoit drops to the mat and Taz jumps over him. Taz bounces off the ropes again and this time Benoit is up to a vertical stance and grabs Taz around the head in a sleeper hold. Taz is throwing his arms around wildly. He is trying to break away from the sleeper but it looks like the sleeper is going to take him down. Taz begins to slowly fade down until he drops to one knee and then down to his second knee. The fans are beginning to cheer but Taz falls down further and now they are both lying on the mat. The referee grabs the arm of Taz and lifts it into the air… the referee drops it and it falls to the mat. The referee lifts the arm again and drops it… the arm hits the mat and the referee shouts two… if the arm drops this third and final time then Chris Benoit will walk away with the victory. The referee lifts it up and holds it for a second before dropping it… the arm doesn’t even get half way when Taz holds it up again. Taz begins to move and gets back to a knee. Taz is slowly but surely getting back to his feet and he finally does when he lodges an elbow into the gut of Benoit. Benoit seems stunned by it but still holds on to the sleeper hold. Taz finally squirms around to the back of Benoit and lifts him into the air and drops him to the mat. That was a huge backdrop and Taz finally broke the sleeper hold. Both men are out on the mat now. |-X-|

|-X-| The referee gets to eight and finally both men begin to move. Taz is up to a knee and so is Benoit. Both men are staggering towards each other and Taz grabs Benoit by the arm and spins it around. Taz begins to wrench the arm and Benoit is in agony but I don’t see anyone beating Chris Benoit with an arm bar. After a few seconds of it Benoit finally breaks lose and knocks Taz away from him with a punch. Tazz charges at him and Benoit fires him to the mat with a drop toehold. ##STAMPEDE## is heard all over the arena and Rhyno appears on stage, the crowd begin to go wild as Rhyno runs to the ring and dives in under the bottom rope. The referee is trying to hold him back but Rhyno fires a punch at the referee and knocks him to the mat. Rhyno turns his attention to Taz but the referee is moving and is calling for the bell. This one is a no contest. |-X-|

|-X-| Rhyno waits for Taz to get to his fee and charges at him… GORE! GORE! GORE!!! Rhyno nearly broke Taz in half. Rhyno gets back to his feet and walks into the middle of the ring and beats his chest. The crowd give him a huge pop as he does and then he turns his attention back to Taz. Benoit is getting back to his feet though. Benoit walks over to Rhyno and knocks him to the mat with a massive closeline from behind. Benoit drops to the mat and locks in the Crippler Crossface. Rhyno is in agony but there isn’t anything that anyone can do about it. Rhyno is tapping but Benoit is just holding back harder. He is trying to destroy the Man beast. Taz is back to his feet in the other corner though and he walks over to Benoit and Rhyno. Taz grabs Benoit and lifts him to his feet. Benoit turns around and draws back the fist but doesn’t pull through… What the hell is going on here? Taz raises Benoit’s hand and his own too as some of the fans cheer. I don’t think Benoit has a clue what is going on either. Taz walks to the ropes and slides out. He begins to rummage under the ring announcers table and he finds something and he makes his way back into the ring. He walks over to Benoit and throws it at him. Benoit catches it and opens it out. He looks at it for a second and then puts it on and we all see that Benoit is wearing a NMW t-shirt. No Mercy hits over the pa as the fans cheer. Benoit and Taz begin to leave the ring and they lay a few kicks into the back of Rhyno as they do. They then slide out of the ring and make their way back up the ramp. |-X-|

Buff Bagwell & Ken Shamrock vs. Chris Jericho & Christian

|-X-| Chris Jericho's count down hits, 05, 04, 03, 02, 01, Break The Walls Down.....Jericho's music plays and we see the High light of the night in the stage in his T-pose! He spins around twice cockily as always with his Tag Team Champion around his waist, He then points to the back and out comes Christian, with his arms raised in the air! The pair of them walk down the ramp way to the ring, and Jericho goes up the steel steps and he poses on the apron for the crowd as Christian slides under the bottom rope and the tag champs pose in the ring with their belts! |-X-|

|-X-| Then we hear "I'm Buff, I'm The Stuff and the girls can't get enough" and out come Buff Bagwell and Ken Shamrock the challengers to the tag team titles, they make their way down to the ring and both teams stand in the opposing corners! Then all of a sudden we hear the nWo's music play and out come Syxx-Pac and Scott Hall, then come down the ramp way and Jericho seems distracted! They both take up a position at the commentary desk! Its looks like we have the nWo on commentary here! |-X-|

|-X-| The belt rings and Buff attacks Christian and the match is under way, He hits clubbing blows to the back of the tag champ! Buff then whips him to the ropes and he lowers his head for a back body drop but Christian has it scouted and he kicks Bagwell in the face! That's got to hurt! The Bagwell stumbles, and he turns back around and walks in to a drop kick from Christian, he goes for the cover, and the ref begins to count but only gets a very short two count! Its going to take more than that to beat an athlete like Bagwell! Christian then locks in a rear chin lock on Buff! It looks like Buff is fading but the crowd begin to get behind him! The ref raises his arm once and it drops, he raises it a second time, and it drops, one more time and this is over, but Bagwell keeps his arm in the air, and with the clapping of the crowd he makes it back to his feet and he elbows Christian in the gut, he sends Christian off the ropes, and he hits a power slam on Christian, Then Buff stands up and he begins to pose for the fans but Christian grabs Buff’s tights and he rolls Bagwell up for a school boy, Christian has the tights here, he is going to steal one, but the ref only gets a long two count! Christian then grabs Buff and rams his head off the turnbuckle, and he tags in his partner Y2J! In comes Jericho and both of the begin to stomp Bagwell down in the corner! Then Jericho takes him and he whips him off the ropes and he hits a flying cross body on Bagwell! Jericho begins to play to the fans a little bit here and it gives Buff a little time to recover! Then Y2J picks Buff up and he hooks his arms around Bagwell like he is signaling for the Flashback but the ref is on the blind side and Buff flicks back up his heel and he gives Jericho a low blow! |-X-|

|-X-| Jericho is down, but is close enough to Christian to make the tag, and Christian drags Buff by the ankle and he pulls him away from Ken Shamrock who is waiting like a caged tiger on the apron to get in the match, but Christian pulls him back and then he drops a couple of elbows on the back of the head of Buff! Christian is showing a mean streak here! Christian lifts Buff up and he sends him in to the corner, then Christian runs at Bagwell looking for a splash, but Bagwell gets a boot up which makes Christian stumble back! Jericho is screaming for Christian to make the tag, and Christian gets there! And in comes the fresh man Jericho and he doesn’t allow Buff to make the tag and get the fresh man in! This is good wrestling from the tag team champions! Jericho comes in a rubs his boot off the side of Bagwells head taunting the fallen challenger, Jericho then picks him up and he hits the breakdown! He goes for the cover but Buff gets his foot on the bottom rope! He didn’t have enough energy left to kick out! That’s good ring awareness by Buff!! Jericho can’t believe what's happening and he protests to the ref that, that should have been a three count! While this is happening Buff gets to Shamrock and makes the tag but the ref didn’t see it and he orders Shamrock back in to the corner! |-X-|

|-X-|You can’t call what you can’t see! But Buff has gotten back to his feet and he grabs Jericho and he DDT’s Y2J to the mat! Both men are down, and both men begin to crawl to their corner’s! Jericho gets to Christian and Buff Bagwell gets to Ken Shamrock, the two fresh men come in and Shamrock begins to take over knocking down Christian with two clotheslines in a row! Then Jericho gets back up and Shamrock drop kicks him while Buff lays in the corner, Shamrock then goes back to work on Christian! He picks up Christian and he body slams him to the mat, Ken Shamrock plays to the crowd and he is calling for the ankle lock, ANKLE LOCK! But Jericho gets back in the ring to break it up and he clotheslines Shamrock from behind! Jericho then bulldogs Shamrock and he goes to the ropes for the Lionsault, but Scott Hall clocks Jericho in the head with Jericho’s world title belt! What the hell is this! The ref calls for the bell and we have a DQ! |-X-|

|-X-|Hall and Syxx-Pac then get in the ring and Syxx holds Christian while Hall lays right hands in to his face and Jericho gets back up and tries to hit Hall but Hall sees it coming and he kicks Jericho in the gut! And Scott Hall holds Jericho over his head and he hits the OUTSIDERS EDGE! Some commentary that was, It was just a damn set up! Jericho and Christian are left laying in the ring as the Smackdown owner, Paul E Heyman's music hits……….
