Denton Language Exchange

A volunteer language exchange program for English and Spanish speakers in the Denton area

As anyone who has tried to learn a second language knows- reading, listening, and studying are all great ways to begin grasping the basics of language acquisition. They soon find, however, that without actual speaking practice, the knowledge gained does not help in real life.

This program is designed to provide practical help for English and Spanish speakers who want to apply the knowledge learned in books or class. The concept is simple: one English speaker and one Spanish speaker come together to practice speaking in a fun and comfortable environment of their choice.

We will coordinate the introduction of two individuals: one English speaker and one Spanish speaker. The rest is up to you. Each person has something to learn, and each person has something to give.
