We have thought as a family for a long time about getting a dog. When we looked at GreenHill's site, we found a very cute dog that was compatible with our family's needs. Her name is Daytona and I am starting a web page about her to keep everyone updated. It will sort of be a journal of her life. 3/28/03- Today we called GreenHill to adopt Daytona. The lady at the desk told us that the whole family had to be there, so we filled out the paperwork (about an hours worth)and they told us they would put a 24 hour hold on her. Then we went out into the kennel and waited for like 10 minutes with her until the lady came and took her out into the yard so we could get to know her. She was great. She didn't jump and Justin loves the fact that when he told her to "sit" she did it. My mom is getting along with the dog very well. She absolutely loves her. I love the dog. She is brilliant and I think that with a little bit of bonding time we could become very close. I decided that this is going to be the oportunity I was waiting for to start excersizing again. 3/29/03- Today we had breakfast burritos... Mom decided that because I went yesterday, I don't get to go get her today. I wish I could. We patched the fence and cleaned the yard. I just hope she doesn't eat my flowers...:)!
