Game Cube Games' Ratings

The Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker

Rating: 10/10

One of the best games on the Game Cube. A must buy for any gamer. Includes rich, interesting gameplaying with medium difficulty. Good Replay value. Puzzles are challenging, yet not impossible. Extra side quests add a lot to the game and keep the gamer occupied. Need to use mind to solve some puzzles, also need to use pure fighting ability. Lives up to the reputation of the Zelda series. Above all, it is just fun to play, exactly what a game should be.

Skies of Arcadia: Legends

Rating: 10/10.

An absolutely fantastic game. The best turn-based game on the GC. Great plot for a video game, that calls for 30+ hours of gameplay, not including great sidequests. I strongly recommend this game for every gamer. Also, it subtley brings up interesting points about the human soul and character which is a good bonus to this video game. Good replay value. Must-have for anybody who likes turn-based games.

NBA Street: Vol. 2

Rating: 9.5/10

A great game for any real balla. A great sequel to a great game. Includes NBA Challenge (Play as an NBA, or created team, against other NBA teams,) Be a Legend (Create a balla and develop his skills playing street legends) and exhibition. Must have for any basketball lover. Fun with multiplayer.

Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

Rating: 8.5/10

This game is an excellent game, yet was quite short and thus, did not get a higher rating. The plot line is excellent and logical, fitting the fighting in understandably. The best feature of this game is by far the multiplayer which is great to play with a sibling or friend. I would recommend this game for people who like real time fighting games, or are new to the genre.

Pikmin

Rating: 4.5/10

This game is very disappointing. Here's the storyline: A midget hero trying to fight giant birds with little guys. C'mon!!! The creators could have done a lot better than that. It starts out pretty fun, but gets old, fast. Unfortuneatly, the game seemed more of a task, than as entertainment, and thus was not very fun. Furthermore, I never was motivated to beat the game, and resent wasting my money. I advise you to keep your money, but if you ever find it on a $5 rack at some garage sale, who knows, you might enjoy it.
