Comparing Place
This describes a process
of comparing what you have, and what you want. If what you have,
is similar to what you want, you will feel happy, and this results in a “balanced”
set of scales, and consequently, you have gained more effective control, and
will continue to do what you have been doing.
Conversely, if what you
want is much more than what you have, frustration results ie.
The set of scales are out of balance. You will then have an urge to behave in a
way that will help you get what you want. Unless you are able to get what u
want, frustration continues.
