Crest REACT,
Since 1978 -
CREST REACT has been an active member of the community for more
than 20 years and is one of the largest REACT
Teams in the United States. .
Dedicated to public
service through communications, CREST REACT
is regionally located in southern California and centrally headquartered in Corona, CA.
We are an independent,
not-for-profit public service organization providing skilled volunteer two-way radio
communications for public safety.
CREST REACT
services the Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino
county areas and cooperates with teams from Los Angeles & San Diego
counties.

REACT International,
Since 1962 -
REACT has been
on the scene for 30+ years
providing help to communities across the country. Volunteers started in 1962 by
monitoring Citizen's Band (C.B.) Channel 9 and assisting motorists in various ways. Although many still use C.B., a
large percentage of the REACT volunteers now
have amateur and G.M.R.S. radios.

EVENT
ORGANIZERS:
Did you know that many organizations (like
yours?) use our service to communicate
and coordinate their events.
They use
the CREST "cadre" of 2-way radio volunteers for a
smooth running operation on their "big day" of activities.

Yes,
we ARE different ... Why? We cover the entire range of 2-way communications.
Some members monitor CB channel 9, while others answer calls on the W6FNO repeater.
We may use a VHF or UHF frequency that we are licensed for. As a REACT organization
or as individual team members, we own and operate repeaters on 220, 440 and GMRS.
Members use base, mobile and handheld GMRS radios, and many
also have amateur licenses and are members of the CREST Amateur Radio
Club, an ARRL affiliated ham club and part of CREST REACT.
Some members also own and monitor citizen's band (CB) radio frequencies. FRS and
cell phones have their place too, as does ATV. Interested in learning more?
