Crest Communications received a Letter of Appreciation
from a thankful motorist at the Oct/2000 team meeting.

Crest 94 [Wayne] received a written "thank you" from an
appreciative motorist who helped "for the good of REACT". 
This is actually the 2nd letter the team has received as a result 
of Wayne's volunteer efforts on Southland freeways.

Crest 25 [Ed] and Crest 210 [Michael] 
were given Life Membership during the Sep/2000 team meeting.

Ed is one of the founders of our team and has been an ongoing supporter and past officer.  He has donated time, equipment [ even a repeater!! ] for the advancement of REACT.  
Michael began as a Junior REACTer, has been an officer,
sacrificed hundreds of hours of personal time,
and continues to be a dependable event volunteer.

Bob Leef, Crest REACT Unit 1, was awarded the
Eugene S. Goebel Award at the 2000 REACT Convention
in Florida in July/2000.
