Professor X- Real name is Charles Xavier.  Although he is stuck in a wheelchair he has astounding  powers of the mind.  He is in charge of a school for gifted youngsters.  He is a man with a vision of peace between mutants and people.

Magneto- Real name Erik Lehnsherr.  He is a survivor of the Holocaust, he is motivated by years of    prejudice and bitter hatred.   He is a master of magnetism and doesn't see eye to eye with Professor X.

William Stryker- Believes that all mutants have no rights.  His goal is to make the world a better place without mutants.

Actor: Brian Cox

Death Strike- Real name Yuriko Oyama.  Silent but deadly, she works for William Stryker.  Her body is made up of a unique metal called adamantium, just like Wolverine.

Actress: Kelly Hu

Mystique-Real name Raven Darkholme, she is a shape shifting mutant in the service of Magneto.  In addition to her shape shifting abilities she is also an impressive physical fighter.

Actress: Rebecca Romijn-Stamas

Wolverine- Real name is Logan.  He is a mutant stricken by amnesia, his retractable claws and skeleton have been mysteriously augmented with unbreakable metal by the government.  He also has a mysterious past with Stryker and Oyama.

Actor: Hugh Jackman

Storm- Real name is Ororo Munroe.  She is able to conjure windstorms and lightning bolts with her mastery of weather elements.  She is still learning to control her abilities. 

Actress: Halle Berry

Jean Grey- A spokesperson for mutants.  Grey strives to alley humanities fears and foster respect for the growing mutant minority group.  She is currently having issues with her powers.                  

Actress: Famke Jansen

Cyclops- Real name Scott Summers.  Can discharge a crimson energy beam from his eyes.  It is very hard to control without a special visor or glasses to hold it in check.  He is romantically involved with Dr. Jean Grey.

 Actor: James Marsden

Night Crawler- Real name is Kurt Wagner.  He can teleport himself to any place he desires, also carries strong acrobatic skills and can even walk on walls.  He has only three fingers and three toes, yellow eyes and a long deadly tai with a pointed tip.
